Start

Chapter 1

I sit on the beach watching the waves crash on the sand. I hear the sea gals and children laughter. I get up from the sand and head inside. I run up to the porch then BAM! I run right into the screen door. I fall back a little by the impact. I am back to reality. I open the door and go in.
"Kiley! Are you alright?" My mom asked.
"Ya!"
I grab my phone from the counter and go get dressed. I open my closet and drop my head in disappointment. I put on pink and white zigzag shorts with a gray tank top. I put a bandana on. I grab my backpack and run down the stairs.
"I'm leaving!"
"Alright! Have a nice day!" She yelled back.
It's a nice sunny summer day. School just started. I'm a sophomore in high school. I'm not far from my school so I ride my longboard to school. I have my earbuds in and listening to Cody Simpson. I get to school. My school isn't very big but a good size. There are peoples driving up in their nice cars with friends. I see my friend Misty's car pull up. I go and ride my board over to the car. The door swings open. SLAM! It hits my face and I fall to the ground. She rushes out of her car.
"Are you alright?" She asks laughing
"Ya, I'm fine."
She helps me up.
"So how has your morning been" she asks.
"Well besides getting hit with your door, alright"
"Really just alright?" Misty says.
"Ya well I ran into the screen door this morning."
"Oh well that happens all the time to you." She says.
"Ya but that's about it. What about you?"
"I've been having a good morning." Misty says.
We head inside of the school. You see your typical groups. The popular, the jocks, the nerds, and there is us. We are kinda in the middle of all the groups. We get to my locker and Erica is there.
"Hey!" We say
"I heard what happened" Erica says
"Are you serious."
"Yup, it's all over the school."
I open my locker. There are pictures of Cody Simpson, Demi Lovato, 5 Seconds of Summer and different titles of movies and beach pictures.
"Did you look around for any clubs to join?" Misty asks
"I saw the film class. I was thinking about doing that this year."
"Hey Kiley, what about Drama?" Erica says
"I don't know. I will think about it"
"You should try it." Misty says
"Alright."
"Hey guys!" Sam says
"Hey!" We all says
"So how's your head?" Sam asked
"Really!"
"You should really go try it." Erica says
"Try what?" Sam asks
"They want me to try Drama."
"That would be cool." Sam says
"You are dramatic anyways" Misty says
"Fine, I will do it but I'm still going to join film."
