Uh oh.

I was walking with all the boys and my phone vibrated I took it out.

Message: Maddy look I'm sorry. it was the worst mistake I could of made and I can't believe I lost someone as good as you. I was the most lucky guy on earth to have you as my girlfriend and I screwed it up. Maddy please forgive me? can we please just start over?

My eyes started to sting it was my ex Jayden. No not now why now. he was my first "love" or I thought he cheated on me with one of the most popular girls in school kiley. I was heart broken but honestly I still loved him. Why do I have to still love him?! I like Hayes not him. do I?

I feel a few tears come from my eyes once I blink I was behind the boys a bit.

"Hey Maddy do you wan- are you okay?" Taylor asked he had a worried look on his face.

I shook my head," no I'm not okay."

"What happened?!"

"My ex that what happened," I hand Tay my phone. luckily no one else was paying attention.

"Holy shit Maddy I'm so sorry! do

You still like him?"

"That's the thing Tay I really like Hayes but Jayden was my first love and he cheated on me but for some reason I.... I still like him. I sound stupid I know but it so complicated being Jack Gilinskys sister."

"I understand but Maddy I think it's best if you let his dumb ass go.... or I guess just follow your heart," Tay put his arm around me," well Maddy were gonna go get some ice cream. and I don't care what you say your coming!"

"Okay fine."

We walk into the ice cream parlor. I look at the row of a bunch of different ice cream flavors. I was debating on wether I wanted chocolate chip cookie dough or if I wanted mint chocolate chip. I decided on mint chocolate chip (my fave) and I pulled out my wallet Hayes pushed my hand down and put money on the counter for the man standing at the register.

"Hayes I can lay for my own I have money."

"No that won't be necessary I will pay for it."

"Okay well thank you," the man handed me my ice cream," thank you," I smile. He nods his head and I go sit at the table Tay is at with Nash and Cam.Hayes went and sat with Matt and started to talk.

I sat in silence as the boys talked. we all finished we drove home I gave all the boys a hug walked into my room put on sweatpants, a cami and went to sleep with out saying a word to Hayes.

"Hey Maddy I'm gonna go to Nash and Cams room for a bit,"Hayes said slipping into his slippers.

"Okay I'm just gonna stay here and try to get some sleep for Magcon tomorrow."

"Okay," at that he walked out of the room.

My phone started to go off. I hopped up and ran over to the phone. The name read "Jayden" just great.

I pick it up.

Me: what do you want Jayden?!

Jayden: Maddy listen

M: no I don't care what you have to say you cheated on me yes you say that's a mistake but you can control that mistake.

J: why can't you just listen to me?!

M: because Jayden to be honest I still have feeling for you but I don't want to date the guy who broke my heart. when you texted me you ruined my day!

J: Maddy please just listen.

M: fine what do you want to tell me?!

J: okay Maddy you were right kiley is a bitch I'm sorry I should've listened to you. yes I could've controlled that but you were my first love and I was stupid for doing what I did but I understand if you don't like me anymore cause if I was you I wouldn't like me anymore either. so Maddy I'm sorry.

M: whatever Jayden bye.
