We went to checkout, and the cashier lady was a young adult. She had long brown wavy hair that covered up her name tag. She barely looked up at first, but when she did she noticed who Louis was. Her eyes widened and she was in shock.

“ Hi Louis!” She said

“ Hi, erm..” Louis moved her hair out of the way of her name tag to reveal her name was Livy. “ Hi Livy!” he said. You could tell she was in complete shock, not as bad as I was, but still shock. She rang all the stuff up, and I didn’t even notice how much stuff we had. Louis and I needed to take two carts out to the car. When we were walking away, I turned around and smiled at Livy. She mouthed to me “ Oh my god.” and then turned to the girl next to her and started fangirling. I laughed.

“ Whats so funny?” Louis said.

“ haha, Do you realize you just made that girls day?”

“ Why do you say that?”

“ She was in shock from the second she saw you, and you touched her.. and said her name!” Thats when I remembered, the first One Direction concert I went to, it was recently just this year. The boys were reading tweets, one of the girls happened to have the same name as me. When they said my name onstage, I started fangirling and jumping up and down screaming, they thought it was me that sent the tweet. They pointed right at me and they all said “ Hi Megan!” and waved. That was the best day of my life... This day cuts it close too.

“ You know, I never really seemed to understand why that kind of thing makes people freak out, I mean, after all, we are just people.”

We were then unloading the carts and putting everything into the back of the car.

“ Yeah, but you’re Louis Tomlinson, From One Direction.”

“ So? I mean, I guess I’m famous and all, but I am still just a person.”

“ But, in directioners minds, you and the boys are way more than just a person..” Louis and I ran the carts over to where they went, and hopped in the car.

“ Explain...”

“ You and the boys have done so much for us, You may not even realize it, but every Directioner has a story behind them. A story about why you are the main boys in her life, and why she loves you till death. A story of WHY shes a directioner.”

“ You were a directioner right?” Louis said pulling out of the parking lot.

“ Still am.” I said looking down.

“ So whats your story?”

I then froze, I’m not sure if I wanted to talk about it, after all this is our first day together, and I don’t want Louis to think of me that way. I’m not really ashamed of why, but It’s just not a topic I’m comfterable talking about... It was silent in the car, I just didn’t respond. Before I knew it, a tear fell from my eye. Louis looked over just in time to see it fall. He kept looking at me, back and forth, from me to the road, waiting for me to say something.

“ I-I-I don’t really want to talk about it...”  I always told myself, that if I was ever to meet one of the boys, I was gonna tell them everything. I guess when the time acutally came, I was too nervous.

“ Okay, babe. But just know, were family, you can tell me about everything. I won’t judge, or tell anyone. That’s what family is for.”

“ Thanks boo bear...” It just kinda sliped out, us directioners always call him that.

Louis then looked over at me and smiled, because Harry always called him that.

It was awkward silence in the car, considering the fact that I was sobbing, and Louis was driving. So I turned up the radio, and started dancing like an idiot like Louis and I were doing before. Louis caught on and started dancing too. He truly was the same person, and they weren’t kidding about them just acting as themselves, not what the media wanted to see. I mean, I guess I can only say that for Louis, but I’m sure its true for the rest of the boys aswell. I wonder if I’m going to get to meet them, But then again I bet they went home to see their family, I doubt they were here with Louis. Valerie then came on the radio... I was going to start singing, but I decided to let Louis do the singing, after all, it was the song he sang during the Up All Night tour. I was having flash backs of the concert, and I was smiling again.

“ Looks like someones happy now!” Louis said smirking.

“ NO. don’t stop singing...” I laughed, still kind of choked up from crying.

Louis then continued singing, and it made me happy. By the time the song was over, I was basically fine, like nothing ever happened. The boys always had that power over me, even through the computer screen, or through the headphones of my Iphone. The next song that came on was “ The A Team” By Ed Sheeran. I loved Ed Sheeran, he was also one of my favorite artists. By the time the chorus came around, I started singing, just by force of habit. I noticed then that Louis was looking at me, I started blushing and so I stopped.

“ NO. don’t stop singing!!!!” he said, so I continued on with the song. When the song was over, he took his hands off the wheel, and started clapping.. I was staring at him completely confused, so he explained himself.

“ You’re really good, you know that right?”

“ Well, I’ve always just sang for fun, not being serious.”

“If you wanted too, you could be serious about it..”

“ Are you serious?”

“ Girl fran, I’m serious.” I laughed because he was bringing out the sassy Lou I knew and loved.

“ I always had solos during school, my teachers and friends always loved me voice, but I never took it seriously. I went to a small school, and I was known as the best singer, it was quite weird.”

“ What kind of solos?”

“ In fourth grade, I had a solo singing at the talent show with some of my friends.. and well, in fifth grade, we did some musical. It was required considering we didn’t have enough kids. I got one of the lead parts, which included singing.. that was the first time I REALLY sang seriously infront of people. Then in 7th grade, we had electives, I was in the Glee elective, and I basically ran everything.. My group sang Hey Soul sister, by Train. I had a solo in that too, and everyone told me I was the best in the whole elective, which was three groups of kids... and 8th grade I got to sing one of the solos for Choir. I never took it that seriously though, it was something I enjoyed, but never really thought much about it.. I’m more of a dancer.”

“ Well you have potential, if you ever wanted to do anything more than solos at school...” he laughed.

“ thanks, I guess....”

“ What? can’t take a compliment?”

“ I guess not, I don’t get them very often..”

“ I don’t understand..”

“ I had problems when I was younger, and I guess even though I’m older now, people still hold it against me.. I kicked my butt, and it still wasn’t good enough for people.”

“ What do you mean...”

“ My genetics, on my dads side. I had weight issues, I was obese till about freshman year... I’m so ashamed of it.”

“ Why do people still judge you for it? I mean, obviously you worked at it, and you look great now!”

“ Society is a messed up place, It kills people.”

“ Well fuck society...” My eyes widened at him saying that, and he noticed,

“ Oh sorry... do you not swear? are you against it?? im sorrry!!”

“ Don’t worry about it Lou, I’m 16, I’ve heard it before.. I guess I just forgot you guys swear.. haha.”

“ Oh okay good, cause I’m not sure if I could remember not to swear around you...”

“ Don’t worry about it Lou.”

We then pulled up to my summer house, It still amazes me everytime I look at it. I was actually quite suprised that Lou remembered exactly how to get to our house. I then noticed, that the other cars weren’t back yet. I guess everyone was still out at breakfast, or decided to do something else without Lou and I.. My dad would be the one to come up with that idea, just to make me quite mad. Louis and I had a competition to see who could carry the most grocery bags into the house. I ended up beating him by two, but I’m pretty sure he let me win just to be nice.
