"Okay guys head over to your assigned partner, we're going to learn the girls dance routine first up. By the end of this you should have at least three of the dances down pact"

I sigh, after Edwin's strange exit two days ago he has been really distant, I didn't know if I did something wrong so I asked Austin if he's okay and he said he and the boys have been experiencing the same thing; he has been coming and going like the wind in the atmosphere or the waves in the ocean, saying nothing more then a quick hello before isolating himself.

I walk over to him and immediately notice bags under his eyes, has he slept?

We say an awkward hello before I begin to attempt to instruct him.

Problem is, he won't do anything. I haven't been talking for the past five minutes and he's struggled to notice because he's too busy on his phone.

Not only that, but I'm hot and bothered. It's boiling outside and because on my injuries on my arm I have to wear a hoodie and because I don't want to to look stupid, some leggings and joggers.

After about seven minutes of glaring at Edwin in an obnoxious manner, my eyes finally meet his.

"What?"

"Something is wrong with you, rather tell me what it is or fucking cooperate because I don't want to be a laughing stock on stage"

"Okay whatever, let's just do this"

I decide we need to start from the beginning which earns an audible sigh from Edwin, but he doesn't object. We begin with the slow love song we wrote and for that Edwin and I needed to intertwine our finger and do a slow dance type thing; similar to waltzing.

"You have to look me in the eye when you do it, baby girl" I look up to him smirking, where'd that come from?

"You're making it awkward"

"How?"

"You're not being.. you're not being your usual self, something is wrong and it's putting me off. In fact, question game.. what's up?"

"The sky, now let's keep dancin-"

"You know that's not what I mean"

He lets out a sigh you'd expect to hear from an angst teenager who's yelling at their mum saying it's not a phase, maybe he's feeling emo? Boy, me too Edwin I feel you.

"I found out some news and I'm not to happy about it, I'm sorry" He exhales

"That's all you had to do Honoret, maybe I would've been more sympathetic"

After about an hour we finally perfect the slow dance, with me looking him in the eye and him finally learning his left and rights, I swear that boy is as disoriented as a push door that works when you pull.

"Okay, next up we finna do the-" he pauses "Why the hell did they call it the hunky monkey dance oh my god"

I laugh at the boy, "because we have to monkey grip"

"Ohhhhhhh" he laughs at himself "I thought we were getting funky, you got my hopes up" he winks

"Edwin!" I slap him in the arm

I show him the choreography, not that he's paying much attention, and he nods indicating that he kind of gets it.

"So it's like the grapevine at the start?"

"OH MY GOD YES I REMEMBER DOING THAT IN MY DANCE SCHOOL WHEN I WAS FIVE FUCKCKSHSKHHH!"

Memories man, memories. Maybe I overreacted though..
