Episode 278

Lucy POV:

Natsu, Happy, and I finally made it over the mountain. We would've gone by train, but... well Natsu refused. We walk for two hours before the village was in sight. It was beautiful. The houses were made of wood with a brick roof, and they all had gardens. I could see a lake surrounded by many different flowers.

But my thoughts were disturbed by an annoying blue cat, "I'm sooooooooo tried! We've been walking for AGES!" I roll my eyes.

"Excuse you little buddy, you're not even walking!" Natsu crosses his arms. I sigh knowing that this will only lead to a full-on argument.

"But I've been flying for AGES!"

"You have NO right to complain! My feet are killing me!"

"We wouldn't have had to walk this long if you had let us take a train!"

"ARE YOU KIDDING?! DO YOU WANT ME TO SUFFER?!!!"

"Rather you than me!"

"how dare yo-"

"ALRIGHT BOTH OF YOU, SHUT UP THIS INSTANT AND STOP COMPLAINING!" I sigh, "look we aren't that far from the village we will be there in around ten minutes." I point in the direction of the village.

"SINCE WHEN WAS THAT THERE?!"

"Oh Mavis, what did I get myself into?" I mutter. I look over to Natsu to find a childish grin on his face. "Well, we shouldn't waste and time standing here!" he suddenly grabbed my hand my run towards the village.

By the time we got there, I was out of breath. "Geez Luce, you should cut down on the food, its making ya slow." He smirked.

"Oh shut it! I haven't ran like that in a year so cut me some slack."

Natsu POV:

A YEAR?

Is she saying she did nothing while we were gone?

Not ONE mission?

Nothing?

WHAT?

"Well anyways, I'm going to get us a hotel room." I nod as she walks away. Normally I would follow her and try to annoy her, but what she said was still on my mind. One WHOLE year. I decide to put it off and walk in the direct she went in.

---In the hotel room---

"So Luce, what are we gonna do first?"

"Well, I was thinking that we find Gray, Erza, Wendy, and Carla first. You know, getting the team back together!" I saw Happy's eyes light up at the sound of Carla's name.

"Cool, I can show off my new strength to Ice Princess now and totally beat him in a one on one!" Lucy giggled and rolled her eyes.

"Well we have a big day tomorrow so let's get some sleep." "Aye!"

Lucy POV:

Gray POV:

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late." I'm meeting up with my friends today: Mike, Lucas, Dan, Rory, Jay, and bob. "No worries man." We were sitting at the tables outside of a small café called 8island. We were in an intense game of Uno when I heard a female voice from behind me.

"Hi boys! Do you mind if I sit with you?" I don't bother to turn around and look at her, instead I place a card down on the table.

"Um... ya sure!" Bob smiled. "Thanks." The voice replied.

Gee thanks Bob!

I look up to see the only empty seat is next to me. Great. She sits down beside me and I slowly turn to look at her.

My eyes widen once I see her chocolate brown eyes, long blonde hair that was tied in a ponytail. And the grin on her faces that never changes. It was her. After all this time.

"What? No hello? That's cold, even for you Gray." She smirked, while I let out a soft laugh. Then I pulled her into a small hug.

"I-It's you! How?" Real smooth Gray.

"Gee I thought you'd be happy to see us." I pouted, wait.

"Us?" I give her a confused look.

"HEY ICE PRINCSS! LONG TIME NO SEE!"

No! It can't be him.

I hesitantly turn to look in the direction of the voice.

It is!
