nagmamakaawa.in the peaceful august night, only the agonizing cries of two children could be heard. they were screaming their throats dry, holding onto each other, begging destiny to spare them the painful distance forced to be casted upon their bond.
that same night, a promise was broken.
despite the tight hold, they were separated. torn apart like a pair of chopsticks served at a japanese restaurant. mercilessly, and not given another thought.
these two children will grow up, at first miserable, remembering the friend they had currently lost. but slowly, they both ease up. they both learn to live with life's conditions. destiny had forbidden their friendship. it simply was not meant to be.
not that it mattered to any of the two further on. as they grew up, they both realized how pathetic they were at only nine and ten years old.
