Chapter 32 Taking My Last Breath

Nicole POV

I run, and run, and run. Away from my sister, my family, my problems and fears. I can't do this anymore, this pain and fear. The way its eating my alive. I want it all to go away. Inez is right, I'm disrespectful. I'm not worth it, to save nor to love. I keep running, not planning on turning back. But a growl stops me. A black wolf steps out from the bush.

"Hey little girl. Your Rose Wolf Luna, ain't you?" he asks. I back up to run into another wolf. 

"I think it is, so beautiful, so fragile" he says. Without warning he lunges at me but I dodge him and shift but three more wolfs take me down from the side. Two bite my neck and another my stomach. All start to thrash they're heads as blood starts to pour out.

"Wait, stop." the first one says. They let go and I pull myself to my feet. "Come here." I try to walk but I fall to the ground. He chuckles and walks around behind me. He mounts and and.....yeah. The pain raises every time he pushes in, harder every time. After he's done the next one comes, and the next, and the next till all have taken me. I can't stand up, the blood has drained the life from my body. my breathing is weak and my vision blurry.

"You were so good baby but now we gotta finish the job." one says. He shifts back and takes a syringe from a bag hanging on a tree. "Here we go, nice and easy." he slides the needle into my arm and the yellow liquid pours into my skin. "Sleep well little wolf." and with that they leave. I've heard of the fact that when we're close to death, flashes of your past flow through your mind.

FLASHBACKS

"So, what you gonna name him?" Luke asks as I take my newborn child in my arms. I look him in his beautiful, blue eyes. He looks just like Jason.

"Ryan. His name is Ryan." I say. Inez smiles and kisses his cheek. "I'm your mommy little boy." he smiles and laughs. I have a son. I'm a mother and I love it already.

"Hey, I'm your Aunt Inny, such a handsome little boy." she says. I chuckle and close my eyes. I'm really a mother.

"Jason best." he says wrapping his arms around Jason's neck. I smile and walk over to them. "Jason stay?"

"Ryan? Do you want to know something?" I ask. He nods and looks back to Jason. "Jason is daddy."

"Daddy? Jason daddy?" he asks. I nod and he hugs Jason tighter. "I have daddy now." Jason nods and kisses his cheek.

"And Jason mine." I say pulling him down for a kiss. "Forever," I whisper. He smiles and kisses me again.

"She's gone, she's left me." Inez crys. I take a few steps forward.

"I'm not going anywhere." I say. All turn and lose they're shit! Before they can tackle me I hold me arms out to stop them. "Stop! In alot of pain here." 

"Why aren't you dead?" Eric asks. I give him a look and lean against Jason as he wraps his arms around me.

"Thats a nice thing to ask." I say as he helps me to the couch. "I just didn't want to leave yet." Inez breaks out on tears and pulls me really, really close. And chokes me.

"Don't you ever in your whole life do that to me again!" she says.
