Only You

Chapter 1

Rose p.o.v

I am having my rest today and decide to go to the park instead of sitting at home. The park is my favourite place because that is where I can reminisce my memories of my parents, we used to go to the park a lot. I lost them eight years ago in a car accident. Remembering that day I lost them still bring tears to me, I can still feel the pain of losing them but over the years I accept that they are not with me anymore and started to live  independently.

After preparing myself to go out, I grab my bag and lock the door of my apartment. I live alone after my parents pass away, luckily they left me enough to be able to live alone but I still do a part time job for my university expenses.
I walk to the bus station 3 blocks away from my apartment. The bus stop and I get in taking the window sit where I can see the view.

I see lots of people in the park as I arrive. I walk around a bit admiring the view before I reach under the tree with benches. I take my sit on the bench. I can see lots of people from here, some were playing while some are running around especially children. The parents were chasing after the kids probably afraid they will get injured.

I remember one time I was injured on my knee from running towards an ice cream truck. Being the happy kid I am  I cannot help it, it is excitement we are talking about.

I like it here in the park, I can get fresh air and admiring the view at the same time because it remind me of home. It might be weird to say this park feel like home, but some people always have their one favourite places that they can call home right.
I am cut from my train of thought when I feel someone was staring at me.

I have been conscious about it minutes ago. I turn my head to see a man probably in his late 20th with a black armani suit which suit his body perfectly. I see that he has a dark brown hair  with hazel colour eyes.
I give him a small smile which he return back and continue to enjoy the view.

Henry p.o.v

I am walking at the park to get my mind off from work. I have piles of work to finish for the meeting in three days time. The park was full of people enjoying themselves. I did not go to park often but today is an exception. The air here is refreshing and I think I know why people like it here. I see a tree up front and go there,as I am getting closer I see a woman sitting on the bench.

She is wearing a floral off shoulder dress that end until her knee but the skirt is slightly above her thigh because of sitting. She has a long blonde hair that end until her shoulder. I see that she is staring the view in front of her contently. I cannot take my eyes off of her, seeing her like this so innocent of her surrounding. One thing I am sure is that she stir something in me.
At that instant, I see her turning her head to my direction and give me a smile which taken me aback but return the smile nevertheless.

She is beautiful that I can say for sure, she really stir something in me that give me this desire to know her that moment.
Without even thinking I come close to where she sit.

Hey, do you mind if I sit here?" I ask as I see she is startled a bit but quickly reply me.

Yes, sure." She said as she make spaces beside her for me to sit.

The moment she open her mouth her voice is so soft that I want to hear more, being closer to her like this arouse something that I cannot even fathom myself which bring me to ask myself what is this.
Silence envelope us soon after, I cannot handle silent well so I started asking her things.

Do you like this place?" I ask her

Yeah I like this place a lot." She answer me with a smile on her face. The kind of smile that will make your heart go crazy.

I'm sorry for not introducing myself beforehand, my name is Henry Lee." I tell her while handing out my hand to have a shake.
She gladly shook it.

Rose William." She says

"Rose, what a beautiful name for a beautiful lady. I say to her while she mumble a thank you to me.

I'm sorry for asking this but are you the Henry Lee of Lee corporation holding Inc?" She ask and I am surprised she know about me, well probably because some magazine I thought but quickly answer a yes to her.

"You look different from what the media tells about you. Not to offend you but talking to you like this doesn't feel like you were the rude billionaire that they were talking about".
She chuckle a bit and I can see that she bit her lip as if thinking she was not suppose to say that. I smile thinking I am right because she fidget from her sit.

I'll advise you not to listen to any of those media's because they were just exaggerating things. I'm not rude Im just really serious when it come to work ". I say

I can see that." She says as if she knows me.

How do you know?" I ask as she turn her head towards me.

I just know." She answer as she shrug her shoulder smiling at me.

As I am watching my watch I see her standing up probably leaving, something came up to me and quickly  grab her wrist when I see her turn around to face me.

Is something wrong?" She ask

No, I'm sorry if I surprise you." I say wist apologies to her for my action and letting her hand go at the same time.
She just look at me with her knit eyebrow probably thinking I am weird. I have to say something quickly I thought.

Do you mind if we go for a coffee?"
I say to her as I skim her face searching for answer but all I can see is hesitation and quickly added that I needed a company now.

She mumble an okay to me as I smile at her. I can see that she blush a bit and quickly look away to hide it. So innocent I though.

Shall we? "

Sure." She answer.
