Sleeping on the couch

Emmas POV

"I can't believe you did that!" I yelled walking into the house with Killian hot on my heels.

"Well what did you expect me to do!? He was touching you and I beat him up!" Killian argued. I huff and turn around to face him.

"Yeah. That's my point! We are the cops of this town. You can't to beating people up!" I scold him. He looks down at the ground angrily.

"Look love. I'm sorry for what I did. It won't happen again, I promise." He apologizes. But being the stupid woman I am, I didnt accept it. I was just in the heat of the moment and hormones running through me.

"Hell yeah it won't happen again! Because I am never going out with you again!" I yelled before stomping upstairs. Killian followed. I sped up the stairs and went into my bedroom. I started to gather up everything I needed for the living room. Killian was confused.

"Love, what are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm sleeping on the couch." I simply state. I had gotten a pillow and a blanket from the bed room. I was going to sleep in what I had got on, my date dress. Before I could walk out of the room, Killian stopped me with his hook.

"Emma, there is a lot of things I let you do, but sleeping on the couch isn't one of them. If you're that angry at me, I'll sleep on the couch. You and the baby both need a good rest. The couch won't let you do that." He explained to me. I just stood there silent.

He gently took the things from me and kissed my temple. "Good night love." He whispered calmly to me. I didn't say anything. I turned around got ready for bed.

Killians POV

I knew swan was angry at me. And now that I'm out of the moment, I understand her. It's just that the hormones made her over dramatic. David told me to stay calm and help her instead of me in a situation.  Now, I didn't do that in the beginning. So I offered to sleep on the couch.

After I got everything ready, I needed to tell someone. I thought Regina would be the best person to tell.

Regina, you awake?

Yes. Why?

I need to tell you something.

Ok, what?

So I may have beat up a dude for touching Emma.

So? That's good. Did you kill him?

No. Emma stopped me before I did.

YOU PUNCHED EMMA BY ACCIDENT!!?

What!? Bloody hell no! She just got mad because we are cops.

What's so funny?

You got into an argument with a pregnant woman.

So?

Her emotions are over dramatic aren't they?

Yeah. I'm sleeping on the couch. 😔

Wow. Well, hopefully you can patch things up.

Oh I know we will. She just needs to cool first.

I hear ya. Well, night.

Night.

I put my phone down and sighed. I guess I should go to sleep. I laid down on the couch trying to fall asleep. It never came. I couldn't sleep without emma.

It was around 11:00pm when I heard someone crying and running down the stairs. Before I could react and blur tackled me. It was Emma.  She was crying and hugging me.  I immediately hugged back. "Woah swan! What happened!?" I asked, concerned for her safety and well being.

Emma's POV

I got ready to go to bed in the bathroom.  I was done and about to walk out when all of a sudden I started to get dizzy and almost fell. I luckily caught myself on the counter. I was about to call for Killian until I remembered we were in a fight. I stood up and walked out.

As much as I hated him right now,  I missed him.  It was been so long since the last time I slept with out Killian. So I grabbed his jacket and held onto it in bed. I tried to sleep with that,  but it didn't work.  It just made me think of all the bad things I've done to him, including 30 minutes ago. I started crying because my emotions are all fucked up.

It was around 11 when I couldn't take it. I needed him. I rushed to get out of bed,  almost toppling over, and running down the stairs with me still crying.  I'm pretty sure Killian herd me. I ran and tackled him with a hug. "Woah swan! What happened!?" He asked with worry in his voice.

I tried to calm down but to no avail. My stomach started to hurt. "I'm sorry Killian!  I'm so sorry!" I cried, he rubbed my back.

"Shh love. Calm down. It's fine. Everything is fine." He whispered in my ear.  That helped me calm down for the baby. The aching stopped.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you.  I was stupid." I say,  still muffled by his shoulder. He kisses my cheek.

"No worries swan. I understand it just your hormones." He says.  How is he so calm!?

"Please come back to bed with me. I need you! I can't sleep without you!" I cry.  Killian hugs me tighter. He taps my thigh signaling me to get off. And I do. He stands up and then helps me up.

After we climb into bed,  he pulls me close. "Never sleep on the couch again." Plead.  He chuckles.

I'm back bitches!!
