it was another day of school, and like always when it's lunch time; the hallways are full of gossips and couples, the cafeteria is filled with students of their own group and the classrooms are left unattended.
i took my seat in front of my best friend as i rest my tray of food on the table, "hey seung." i greeted before munching on an apple, seungmin smiled back at me.
it looked like seungmin just had the best day of his life just now, judging by his giddy eyes and a stupid smile decorating is handsome face it says he's extremely happy today.
"what's with the giddy face?" i questioned after swallowing the food i was chewing, i believe he is finish eating since he has an earlier break than me.
his smile grew wider before he said, "yewoon confessed she likes me." my mouth fell agape and a small crack occured inside me.
i didn't frown or react greatly, i just gave a small sad smile. because me, myself also likes him ever since we became classmates but at least i'm his best friend, right?
"and you like her right? are you guys a thing? when did she confess?" i bombarded him with question, my eyes were producing wet tears but i tried to conceal my pain.
"yes i like her. we are official and just earlier before school started." he replied all at once, i just nodded with a supportive smile.
"hey hyungmi, you should go get someone for yourself." he suggested and eyed some guys, i quickly shook my head no.
"nah i'm not ready."
i'm just too late
"you sure? i heard someone say you're head over heels about somebody." he wiggles his brows in a way of teasing me in this case i wasn't even nervous about that. i was pissed off, i hated people gossiping about my personal life.
yet i remained calm, "you should go to your girl, she's waiting." i said and resumed my eating. he nodded then bid me a goodbye before leaving.
