Chapter 22

After all the awkwardness with kanan and the rest of the crew, we parted ways.
Kanan told me that he would train me. He also said he was going to help me get over my fears.
But then he told me something that I didn't like.

He told me that I had to go on a mission and get along with sky..... I mean that is literally impossible that girl HATES my guts!!!
And that was the only way kanan was going to train me.  I knew I had to go with her, so I could be a Jedi.... but be her friend I mean that is impossible.
I rolled my eyes, just knowing that I would have to do this mission with her.

I knocked on her door.
"Who is it?" She asks
"It's Callie, can I come in?" I asked
"No!" She yelled.
I started to open the door.
" I told you not not to come in," She said not turning around and continuing to draw on her paper or whatever she was drawing in.

I walked up to her
"Kanan wants us to go on a mission." I told her.
" I don't have to go." She said
"I know you probably hate me, but please if you don't come. I won't become a Jedi because Kanan said the only way he will train me is if you come with me." I said

" I don't care if you become a Jedi or not." She said "plus I don't know if you will kill me or not on this mission."
"I'm not like that!" I said
"Ya, you killed your own best friend." She said
"No.... how do you know about that?" I said now concerned how much she knows

"You were screaming last night about your friend." She said looking at me
"Oh. well, I didn't kill your brother on the last mission." I said trying to convince her that I'm not like that anymore
"Yet. You haven't killed him yet." She said
"I told you I'm don't kill people anymore." I said

"How do I know that your not lying? you could be empiral spy. " she said giving me the death glare
"I'm not lying!" I yelled
"Really? How do I know that you are just saying that so you can kill all of us. I also could say Right now that I was not a rebel."

"If you really don't believe me, if I ever kill one of the crew or your brother. You will be the first to get to me."
"Ok, but I'm still watching you." She said giving the death glare.

"Ok, so where are we going?" She said all of the sudden happier and jumping around
I was as shocked as I was just electrocuted.
"Umm, we are going to see some other rebels, to give them some information about the empire,I think."

"Ok. Do you know how to fly a ship?" She asked.
"Ya, I flew a couple ships before." I said
Walking into the ship.
I sat down and started the ship.

A couple minutes later

As we landed
"Ready?" I said as I got up from the seat.
"Yep." She said as she sprung up from her seat.
We walked out of the ship and we both saw their rebel base.
"Holy smokes, that looks like a dumpster!" Sky said a little to loudly.
"Sky, they might not have that much money." I sneered
"If you ask me this whole thing seems sketchy." She said

I looked around for the rebels not they were no where.
I walked farther into their base and saw four people standing there in either rags or something like a black Jedi rode.
They seemed a little off.
"Hello." I said walking up to them
"Good afternoon. Do you have the information." He said

"Yes." I said pulling out the letter "this is a letter for kanan for your next mission." I handed it to them.
"Thank you...." He gave me a suspicious look."this will help us....on our next mission." He said
I saw sky looking at them very close.
"Why are you wearing trashbags?" She said
"Sky, that's not very nice, maybe they cant afford much." I whispered
"But they can somehow they can afford Jedi robes."

"Uncover yourselfs, we know your not rebels!" She said taking out her lightsabers.
They all let go of their hoods. They all looked like siths. They also turned on their light sabers.
"Come on." Sky said to me to turn on my lightsaber
"I dont know how to use it." I said
"Just do it!" She yelled

I turned it on and we all started to fight.
I blocked him several times but then I ducked and hit his arm.
Then a guy with double lightsaber came up to me swinging around his lightsaber.
I dodged and tried to hit him several times but kept missing, when I tried to push his lightsaber away. It kept getting closer.
I started to feel a burn on my leg and I screeched in pain, he ran off after because sly had finished the other guy off and I think he got scared.

I held my leg, but opened my hands a little bit and there was a deep cut. I laid on the ground.
Sky ran over and helped me up.
"Do you think you think you can walk?" She asked.
"Ya, I think so." I said putting my hand on the wall of the rebel base. Limping, trying to get to the ship.
"Ok. " Sky said as she walked to the ship.
I was way behind her trying to keep up.
I put my hand back on my leg after there was no more wall left

When we got to the ship, I sat down on the drivers seat. Breathing heavily. I felt my eyes beginning to shut.
"Dont fall asleep. Drive." Sky said as she almost slapped me in the face to try to wake me up.
I grabbed the steering wheel and we took off

When we landed, sky helped me up and was a little nicer and helped over to the rebel base.
When we were inside, she let go of me for a second and I fell to the floor unconscious.
I was so tired and in pain, I could not stay awake. "Callie!" I heard someone say. Then I felt someone pick me up. I barely opened my eyes and I saw that it was Ezra the last thing I heard was " Sky,explained what happened?!"

Minutes, maybe hours, maybe even days went by when I woke up. I was not sure.
All I remember was that I was in pain and it felt just like when I was at the empire.
Its like everything I do now. every dream. everyone. Reminds me of the empire, And I didn't know why.
