What's the purpose of a knight in shining armor?

To protect and to be there when that one person close to you is in need of help. Do I want someone like that in my life? Of course. Who wouldn't want someone like that?

But I'd rather be one instead.

I see someone who, for some reason, is still very special to me. I'm pretty sure that they don't know it because I treat them like a stranger. They treat me the same way.

I see him as the complete opposite of who he used to be and I try to approach him but there just isn't enough time in the day.

Their time of need is my time to act but there is no time to act. So when will there be a time that I can be their knight in shining armor?

Because I love him in the sense that I wanna protect him.
