Dark Gumball book 1(complete)

Chapter 1

One beautiful morning in the town of Elmore, Richard the pink, fat rabbit was returning back home after his 'monthly' walk. As he looked down, he found a dark purple necklace. Richard picked it up and wore it. Meanwhile, Carrie the emo ghost, was freaking out because she lost her necklace. It was equivalent to the powers of the universe and must be destroyed. She soon realised that it must be outside her haunted manor. Richard went home and asked his two sons what they were doing. Gumball was thinking of the new game called Zelmore at the time, while Darwin said that they were doing nothing. Then he noticed the gem on Richard's chest. Gumball called Darwin for breakfast but he was too enthralled to hear his brother. He finally came back down to earth as he heard Gumball's last call.

Darwin was stopped when Richard asked him if he wanted the necklace and he obviously said yes. When Darwin wore it, he felt a sudden urge of shock. He sat at the table but didn't feel very hungry (so Richard ate it instead). They both set off to go to school silently since they had nothing to talk about. Once they arrived, they sat at their desks, peculiarly feeling odd. Darwin was soon covered in black smoke, that was coming from the necklace. No-one seemed to notice except Gumball. Darkwin (evil Darwin) stood on the table and said all of Gumball's private and humiliating secrets . He was in rage ; it seemed like he was going to explode! But he stood back, acting all normal but he couldn't hold back for long. Few moments later, Penny came to him and said that some secrets are bound to be told one day and after she said that he calmed down, remembering what she had said. The very night, Gumball was fast asleep, when a sudden noise woke him up. He looked to his side and saw that Darwin was not there! Gumball panicked in the inside as he went down the stairs cautiously. The next bang came from the Kitchen.

As he peeped in, he saw Darwin holding a knife! Darkwin attacked Gumball, making him plummet on to the ground.

''Dude, What are you doing?'' panicked Gumball

Darkwin said nothing. Gumball looked back to see a baseball bat. As Darkwin was about to stab him, Gumball quickly grabbed the bat and used it as defence but it instantly broke after Darkwin used brute force to break it. Gumball rolled to the side, caught his balance and ran out of the house as fast as he can but Darkwin was not far behind. They reached the forest of doom! Awhile later, Gumball tripped on a rock and fell on his face.

''Ouch!'' said Gumball. ''Why are you doing this to me? You've acted weird all morning!''

''SHUT UP!'' shouted Darkwin with a violent voice.

Gumball got back on his legs with a bad feeling because he realised that he was on an unstable cliff! Darkwin looked at Gumball one final time before stabbing the knife into the cliff, making the tip of it break off, with gumball with it! The last thing he heard and saw before dropping into the River was Darkwin laughing maniacally and the Dark purple necklace being thrown down too!
