It happened again today. I blacked out during chemistry. Mr. Sanders came over to me tried to wake me up. I could hear everyone whispering as he peered over me flashing his hands over my eyes. I was motionless. I couldn't see what was happening. He grabbed my wrist and checked my pulse when I wasn't responding to his continuous words telling me to listen to him. No pulse. He started shaking me to and fro trying to bring me back. I felt every bit of force he was putting on me. I couldn't say anything. I used all the energy left in my body to look him in the eyes for the last time. I was trapped inside my mind.

Everything around me was gone, I was no longer inside the gray classroom full of arrogant students shooting spitballs at Sheldon Alistair. I no longer found myself staring out the window listening to Mr. Sanders talk about chemical compounds and the periodic table. I was fading away into nothing. Falling. Just... falling. Life is funny like that. One minute you are there and the next you are gone. Most people aren't able to say that literally. It seemed as if hours passed here in the magical land of nothing. Until I heard something shatter.

I woke up in a dull blue hospital gown. I had a needle in my arm pumping blood. I looked around, I noticed the whiteboard with my name and description of "injuries." Mr. Sanders was standing next to the window staring out at the wind-broken trees. The trees were beautiful to gaze at. There fading leaves, green to red. My favorite color, in fact, that's probably why I love to look at them. So I understand why he looks so mesmerized. I tried to speak, but nothing would come out for a moment.

"Liam..?" I said softly.

"Jenna!" he said with relief. "Seriously what keeps happening to you? This is the third time you've blacked out at random in my class!" He said with frustration.

"I'm sorry... I just don't know... It's like I just disappear. " I reply.

There was a quick knock. I was worried the doctor would get the wrong idea about Liam and me. It wasn't like that so I quickly pushed him away from me before the doctor came in.

"Jenna Anderson. You have been blacking out. Correct? Okay, normal for the medication you are on, as well as the large amount. But it is not normal for you to quote on quote stop breathing." he said with haste.

"So, what can we do about it? Will I be okay?" I asked worried.

"You should be alright, lets give your body time  to re-adjust. Here are your papers, you can check out when you are ready." Said the doctor.

"Thank you ." I said anxiously.
