Ch.5 Nightmares

Darkness surrounded me, engulfed me, drowned me. I can't breath. I try opening my mouth but blood falls out. I reach for my throat finding it all ripped out. I can't breathe, I can't. I start falling through a tunnel there's a light at the end. I land with a thump, looking around I find myself in my old house my father standing in front of me grinning evilly holding knife.

Suddenly I'm strapped to a table by father above me a sadistic grin on his face scalpel in hand. It came down to cut my stomach open then...

"Wake up!" I shot up covered in sweat and breathing heavily, looking to my side I see Ej "You ok?" Trying to calm my racing heart I nod slowly "Alright, you sure?" I nodded again laying back down trying to relax and forget my nightmare, he nodded back and left.

After a while I managed to fall back asleep only to be greeted with another nightmare

I was getting pulled by what looked like guards to a cell, looking inside I see.... my father smiling insanely at me 'N....no I killed him. He's dead!' I scream in my head eyes wide trying to pull away only to get forcibly shoved into the cell with him. 'This is a dream, this is a dream.' I tell myself swearing my eyes shut quickly forcing them open

I was back in my bed, I was fine. Letting out a sigh of relief I stand up deciding not to go back to sleep this time heading to the kitchen to get some water.
