(Asriel's pov)

"mom can i go out to play? Pleeeaasssee?" I pleaded as i looked to my mom Toriel, She sighed and smiled at me "just don't go to far from home alright? the ruins may look small but it has many rooms you do not know of but...that's not necessary to worry about, you may go now but don't be late! Supper is going to start okay asriel?" i nodded and smiled "I won't let you down mother! Thank you!" I ran up to her and hugged her, she hugged back and let me go to play "be safe will you?" i stop hugging her too as i ran away yelling "OKAY MOM!!"

I waved goodbye to my mom and rushed to the door to play.

As i ran around and jumped on the red leaves i saw froggit and decided to play with him and after 25- minutes i heard a cry, it sounded weird at first but it felt familiar..... "hey froggit did you hear that?" i looked to my side to see froggit quaking in fear "y-y-you should go and check Asriel!" They replied and i just looked at the direction shaking in fear as well. I place a brave face and stood up, i knew i was still scared but i had to be brave! To prove them that i was not a coward! I ran to the direction and heard them crying, soon i saw them on my moms small marigold garden (golden flowers).

They had a (f/c) shirt with (f/c) stripes, matched with brown pants/shorts and mostly their (h/l) (h/c) is soothing to watch. i was shaking and decided to approach the (species you prefer). My hand was shaking as i offered my hand to them "A-are you alright?" i asked as i heard them groan lightly and rub their head to where the part hurts. "M-my name is Asriel Dreemurr, Prince of the underground! But you can call me Asriel!" I said with a cheer in my voice 'i feel like i am not scared anymore!' i felt their hands touch mine as they slowly stood up "my.....name is.......(y/n) (l/n)..." they spoke out as i smiled a little "what a lovely name!" i chirped and helped them walk all the way to my home.

we passed all of the puzzles and we finally made it to my home, i called out to mom and i heard her yell to me from afar "Asriel you are late for supper right now!" she yelled and walked out to the kitchen "now what is your excuse for being la- Oh my goodness!!" mom replied to herself with a shock on her face and ran to me and (y/n) "are you alright young one? My name is Toriel Dreemurr, The queen of the underground and the mother of Asriel." mom Greeted them with a warm smile as they examine (y/n) if they had any injuries "m-my name is (y/n) (l/n) Queen Tori-" (y/n) got cut off by mom interrupting (him/her/them) "you can call me Toriel or anything you prefer child." She smiled again as (y/n) blushed and nodded.

(Y/N's pov)

i looked at the human-like goats.. i recon monsters ARE real... i thought they were just a fantasy..

"my child could you grab the bandage on the countertop?" Toriel said in a soft voice as Asriel nodded and placed a Determined face. "Okay mommy!" He exlaimed with a smile and ran to the kitchen, All that was left was me and Toriel "...T-Toriel..?" i softly said her name. "Yes child? what is it that you inquire?" she replied as she continued looking at the wound on my knees.

"(Y/N!!) COME HERE SO I CAN BEAT YOUR A%S!!" My drunk dad yelled from the hallway. HE would always hit me and cut me like i was nothing to him. I cried and ran to the nearest window and jumped, it was 5ft high so my knees only got scrapped. I bared with the pain and continued to run away as fast as i could. Mom couldn't save me now because she died 5 years ago.. i continued running until i found myself in a cave with a large hole in it. i looked down and saw marigold flowers there, soon i felt a vine hit my foot and the next thing i know i fell into the mountain covered with rumors...'mt.ebott'

i didn't noticed that i fell silent and i felt tears falling down my face. I WAS CRYING INFRONT OF A MONSTER!! "(y-y/n)! i apologize if i had said something wrong!" Toriel said with a worried look on her face "d-don't worry m-mom-I M-mean T-toriel.."

As i said 'mom' her eyes lit up with surprise and she smiled "i will try my best to comfort you
