UNREQUITED

The consummative afflictive kind of loveHardest of all hardestLoving someoneThat can't love you backDefines the word unrequited

It's like climbing on a tree without a branch
Reading a book without a content
Wearing a shoe without a pair
Is delineating the unrequited love
How hurtful this love is

Playing a chess without an opponent
Taking a test without a question
Having a text without a response
Getting a phonecall without an answer
Is like an unrequited love

Walking in the dark night
Without a light
And trying to cross a broken bridge
Is like leading you to the path way
Of unrequited love
