i couldn't believe it at all. mark and i were already acting like a couple. people were giving us looks in the school yard but i didnt care at all.

before mark and i could get into class, eunji came up to us and asked if she could talk to mark. mark went with eunji while i tried to search for jeno.

"DONGHYUCK YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN ME AND RENJUN OMAGASJGDWKH!!?!?!//$?"

i saw jeno sprinting down the hall and attacking me with a hug and started to shake me.

"woah there calm down. what happened?"

"ok so renjun and i were at my place and we nearly kissed but his dumb sister ruined the moment!"

i laughed as he started to continue talking.

"anyway i swear he complimented me so much while he was around."

i felt happy for my best friend. he's been wanted this ever since he laid eyes on renjun and he's finally getting what he wants.

"so did anything happen between you and mark?" jeno smirks as he nudges my shoulder.

"well.. we slept in the same bed and we confessed to each other..."

"YOU GUYS CONFESSED OMGAJSBDAKSB!!!!" jeno started jumping up and down and freaking out.

"shut up jeno what the hell! now the whole world knows."

"are you guys official? like did he finally get rid of eunji??"

"i have no idea. mark and eunji are talking right now."

"mm i see, well do you wanna come to class with me?"

"yeah ill come with you, mark will just come by himself."

marks pov

ive never had this feeling around eunji like i have had with donghyuck. im not sure if we're in love or if its a temporary thing, but whatever it is i hope it lasts for a while. being with donghyuck the entire weekend has made me happier then the whole time ive been with eunji.

i didnt even want to be with her. we were kind of forced into the relationship because of our friends since they shipped us. eunji and i agreed that we didnt love each other really but recently shes been clingy and actually started to take our relationship seriously while i wanted to be with someone else.

people were giving us stares in the school yard but i didnt care. i really thought donghyuck was the one for me.

i saw eunji waiting near my locker.

"hey um, mark can i talk to you for a moment?"

donghyuck saw his best friend so he left me with eunji.

"i need to speak with you as well, you first."

"look mark- i know you dont take our relationship seriously and i know you dont really love me, but i figured out that i care. i care for us. i dont want you to leave me for donghyuck. i know we promised each other that we wouldnt fall in love with each other, but i fucking fell in love with you and now i dont know what to do." eunji started to put her head down and stay silent.

i thought about her words. its not her fault she fell in love with me, but it was true. i dont really care about our relationship.

"eunji look im really sorry but you cant choose who i be with. i cant stay with you if i dont love you. im sorry but i just cant love you."

eunji didnt say a word. she just left me standing there. she turned around and started heading into her class. i decided it was a good time to go to my class. donghyuck already left with jeno so i just walked by myself.
