Okay for the very few people who have read TWHTPB: Against the Royalties... I have deleted it. Coz I don't enjoy writing it anymore, and I have a greater idea on how the whole chronicles should start. ANYWAY! Please do enjoy! AND PLEASE vote and comment! I'd love to see your words!

6 years earlier...
I walked through the white hallway, eyes locked on the ground as I have been summoned to my father's study room. I don't get it, why do hallways always have to be painted white? Why can't it be blue? Green? Or better yet, violet! Our home was outrageously huge so going to the study room from my bedroom requires a good ten minute walk, especially with my short ten-year-old legs. I could have just teleported, but then I would break the most important house rule; powers must not be used while inside the house. My parents said that we should follow this to retain even just a little bit of being an "ordinary human" in our system.
Even though we've been long accepted in the society, being a powerkeeper is hard, much more if you're a son of one of the heads of the strongest, legal Powerkeeper guild in the universe. Yeah, no pressure. At ten years old, so much is expected of me, that's why I pity my older brother. At the age of thirteen he already had to work on things that adults should be fixing; papers and documents to review, impossible missions to finish, council meetings to attend to, etc. I mean, for pete's sake, he hasn't reached puberty yet! He won't admit it but I know he's a late-bloomer.
I continued to walk thinking What does my father want from me? Did I do something wrong? Did he found out about that ridiculously expensive vase that I purposely broke so that they would give me more attention? Or maybe... he remembered what the date today is!
I was dragged out of my thoughts as I stand in front of a huge brown, wooden door, I pulled a dull, poker face to send out a what-do-you-want-and-make-it-fast-cause-I-have-better-things-to-do-than-talk-to-you vibe before knocking. I need to be rebellious you know. I heard a faint 'come in' from the other side so I placed my hand on the doorknob and opened the door quite roughly, stepping in and letting the door behind me close automatically.
The room is huge with a black, wooden table at its other end with an unbelievably huge chandelier hanging 15 feet above it. Books neatly placed in their shelves lined the walls of the left side of the room, the middle, being the floor, is covered with cream-colored carpet, while trophies and other memorabilias decorates the walls of the right side. The latest portrait of our family hangs by the wall behind the desk in between two huge windows that looks out to the beautiful mountains that acts as the boundary of our guild's territory within this dimension. On the other side of the mountains, five layers of walls, three times thicker than the Great Wall of China, are built . It houses the defense towers the emits layers of spherical force field that protects even the sky and underground facilities, and other advance-tech artillery to ensure the protection of our guild and its inhabitants.
The Core, which is the name of our guild, brags of its extremely advance weaponry, training facilities, armory, artillery, and even household appliances. All my life I had been living within this community, same faces, same environment. Through the ten years of my life, I've done nothing but study every bit of information that is related to our guild, the humanoids, and our God. Which is basically everything. And I doubt that I will stop doing this any time soon, because no matter how much knowledge I acquire, there is still too much to learn.
"David." My father called.
I walked toward him and he motioned me to take the sit in front of his desk, but I didn't follow and stood there staring at him waiting for him to speak. Remember, I had to keep the rebellious act. He just sighed, though he's not the perfect father, he's still cool. He still let me do what I want as long as I've done what HE wants.
