I look in the mirror. I have a pair of scissors up to my hair im on the verge of snipping off my long blond locks. I snip the scissors halfway only cutting half a strand of hair. I hear my parents footsteps walk by. I go dead silent trying to make my breathing quiet.

The footsteps are no longer audible and I snip the scissors all the way through. A few locks of golden hair fall to the floor. I gasp and hold my hands over my mouth. I did it. There's no turning back now. I climb onto the sink to get into the cuboards above me. I open the cuboard and it makes a shrieking squeak. I move my hand around the inside of the cuboard until I find a ponytail. I close the small wooden cuboard door and climbed down from the sink. I put my hair in a ponytail ; the cut lock sticking out. I grab the scissors again holding it to the back of my ponytail. I look in the mirror and my temper starts to boil. I forcefully cut through all of my hair leaving my ponytail on the floor and an uneven haircut. I step back almost fainting.

I can't believe I did it. I don't know if I regret my decision but there was no going back. I grab the gray electric razor beside me on the sink. I plug in the razor to the outlet and turn it on. A small buzz came from the razor as it went through my hair. More locks falling to the floor. I look in the mirror once again. It's all off. I grab all of my hair off the floor and stuff it in the trashcan next to me. I get in the shower. The water runs down me bringing the hair down my shoulders with it ; down the drain never to be seen again. I turn off the shower and look in the mirror again, but the mirror was foggy. I step out of the shower wrapping a towel across my head so my parents won't see and a towel across my body. I open the door reluctantly and step into my room. I put on my pajamas. I need to go outside now where my parents wait so we can watch her a movie. I have my hand knew the door knob I turn and pull causing the door to open....
