The Bad Beginning

1955, Stephanie Greene was with her boyfriend, Jakob Smith at her house talking. Her aunt, Justine walks in the room and pulls her aside and says " There's somethin goin on. It's an emergency." Jakob walks in and says " What's wrong?"

"Family emergency!"

"Okay. I'll go now. I'll call you later, Stephanie." Jakob says.  Stephanie replies"I'll see you soon, Jakob." When he leaves and drive away there was a look of sorrow in her eyes and asks" Do we have to go to the station?"

" Yea, right now."

"Is everything ok? Other than what this is."

"Are you ok?"

"What do you mean?"

" You know."

" Yea. I'm fine."

"You sure."

"Yea, I'm sure" When they arrived it was silent between them. Her dad, Jerry, was in his journal of monsters, ghosts, and demons.
