There is an ocean of air. Leaves delicately swim through it's ebb and flows. Operating under the illusion of disconsonant behavior, wind meets water in an undocumented tango.

There is a young man with mysterious green eyes. Awakening from an unexpected nap under a tree, he gets up and wanders around. He is looking for something. He's not sure what he's looking for. He feels lost, but he feels this is where he needs to be. Bark and twig crack underneath his boot. A shimmer catches his eye.

Moonlight serenades the foliage and tree branches. He feels safe being lost in this body of darkness. He is at home being not at home at all.

Something scurries in the shadows. He is not afraid. All creatures are trying to exist and they should respect each other. Feeling frivolous, he begins to walk off the path.

A low vibration can be heard hugging the dirt. He shines his flashlight and can see a glass cube the size of a baseball. Moving closer he can see a small light in the center, almost too dull to recognize. He brushes away a few leaves and admires the cube. It was half buried in the ground as if someone had tried to hide it. Or maybe it fell from the sky.

The young man is a being of wonder. Thoughts begin to drown his mind. He reaches for the cube and just as soon as his fingertips brush the surface it bursts to life, knocking him backwards onto the ground. The light inside is now almost blinding and the cube itself is hovering in front of his face.

There is a faint beeping that is almost echoing from inside. His curiosity effortlessly cancels out his fear. The cube now groans in a deep bone-chilling fashion. The young man turns back to face the cube and is immediately blinded by a bright pink flash.

Frustrated with being blinded, he shuffles backward on the ground to collect himself. He peeks out of one eye to find the cube in the same exact spot. The light inside is now flickering in an almost menacing manner. The young man remains still. Could this be what he was looking for?

The cube returns to a stable glow and speaks with a sharp female voice.

Primordius: Udys Zone, Trevik002 Sector, Inner V-1 Basin, Lower Catica Youth, Eos-Based Rock Tundra 8, Western Hemisphere, Germanic American-English. Translate Active.

The young man remains frozen. Was this an alien device or something the government had made? His shock keeps him in awe yet nothing has satiated his curiosity quite like this. The cube speaks again.

Primordius: Hello, being, I am Primordius, but you can call me Prim. Would you like to proceed?

The young man says nothing for a few seconds but answers halfheartedly.

Being: Oh..okay.

Prim: I've been provided many functions for communication. Shall I proceed with epidermal scan?

Being: Is it safe?

Prim: I am not programmed to harm in any way. I am programmed as an interstellar archive for knowledge and communication.

Being: So you're a space library?

Prim: I contain knowledge dating back to the start of existence. I was created to inform and connect, as well as to be an informational document that will be collected when this universe ceases motion.

Being: So you're truly an ancient artifact. A floating museum of life. Who will collect you in the end?

Prim: I must complete epidermal scan before you read the correct law for Inner V-1 Basin under the Lower Catica Youth provision. Understanding these laws are essential for continuing our session. Shall I continue?

Being: I have no idea what any of that means, but this chance may never come again. I really need to know why I'm here. I must know. Please proceed.

Prim: Very well.

He is blinded by a bright yellow flash and Prim begins to beep and flicker yet again.
