The Lost Fairy (NarutoxFairy Tale)

A Tragic End...

The final battle was under way, everyone was dying, the kage were gone, kakashi was dead, Sakura was trying to heal what she could with what little chakra she had left, Obito was dead, Neji died protecting Naruto, Lee followed in his teachers footsteps and bought time by pushing past his limits and  opening the eighth gate, even though he was only used to six at the time, Tenten was impaled as a massive gust of wind pushed her storm of weapons back at her impaling her to the earth, the original ino-shika-cho formation was gone, ino had died when she tried to use the Shintenshin on the juubi and was hit by a massive vine, Shikamaru ran out of chakra and died of an extreme case of chakra exhaustion, Choji was lost in sadness as his entire team had been wiped out and killed himself to end the pain of being alone, Shino was hit by one of the massive flowers of the god tree releasing a pesticide, the backup of dead bugs in his system with no removal slowly killed him in a matter of hours, Kiba died taking a blow for Hinata, claiming he will always love her before finally leaving this world, lastly Hinata, she was killed in front of Naruto, meant as a stunt to break down his morality, she instead became his martyr and made him fight longer and harder than before.
It was down to Sasuke and Naruto, the only two that could hold off Kaguya, finally exhausted Sasuke was on his last leg, he looked Naruto dead in the eyes and spoke, "Naruto, You remember when we were children? When we fell in that hole in the forest together and found that strange tablet?"
Naruto nodded, "Are you sure, it will cost your life, and possibly mine as well, it's not even a guarantee we will win..." "Naruto I'm on the last of my chakra, this is our last chance, I may not be as smart as Shikamaru, or maybe even Shino, however I do know that I will die soon with how low I am, and without me, you can't defeat her, it's a small chance, but it's our only chance."
Naruto nodded sadly, "Can you buy me time?" "Not enough chakra, but I can do the formula, you just need to hold her off for a few minutes." Naruto nodded and went back to fighting Kaguya, he gave Sasuke a small amount of chakra he could spare so he could use the Susanoo and make the massive sealing formula quicker.
Naruto fought his hardest, as soon as ten minutes came by Naruto noticed Sasuke took his chakra construct down, looking over his shoulder Sasuke nodded and Naruto got ready, "Kurama I need you to do a favor for me, you are attached to my chakra... I need you to break open  my inner gates so I can push Kaguya into the sealing formula."
"I'll do it Gaki, but don't expect a favour from me anytime soon afterwards, I'll probably be gone."
"Thanks Kurama, you and Sasuke are all I have left now."
Naruto started shaking as his inner boundaries were shattered one by one, the first gate opened and it felt like a punch to the brain, the second one felt like a boulder hit his skull, the base of his neck exploded in pain like the third Raikage had struck it with his lightning spear, at this point they started opening faster, going down his spine, it was white pain, finally when he hit seven he grabbed a kunai and stabbed his heart, it opened the eighth gate and then as the pain went away Naruto also activated Nine tails six paths mode.
In an instant he struck Kaguya, over and over, she couldn't keep up after a few minutes she was launched into the sealing array and Sasuke activated it, Naruto released his super abilities as it drained him really quickly, activating the other side the last hope of shinobi started chanting.
"You, creature of unnatural origin and despicable creation, you who would destroy what I stand for, it is time, I am your judge jury and executioner, you will die with me, and never harm this world again, to do this I sacrifice my best friend as fuel to destroy you, accept this offering gods of old and make right with your pact you have with humans." With that Sasuke took his hands off the sealing and he smiled, he took his eyes out and a hawk took them and his sword around the sealing to Naruto, however Naruto didn't look and instead watched as his best friend unravelled like a ball of yarn from his feet, slowly being sucked into the void, created by the sealing, once Sasuke waved goodbye tears rolled down Naruto's face freely, however the sealing was not over yet and the power of the four entities, Sasuke, Kaguya, Madara her new body, and lastly the juubi, her power source all melted into a single floating ball the size of a soccer ball, it stayed floating, still for a moment before it launched itself into Naruto's stomach, even the pain of the eight gates being forcefully opened didn't hurt as much as this and Naruto could barely stand it, after an hour of writhing in pain, light shooting out of his body as the godly power entered it, when it finished he knew he had but seconds before he past out, as a tribute to his best friend, his brother, he took out his own eyes and replaced them with Sasuke's before making a sheath for the sword out of cloth and putting it on his back, however he felt a large amount of chakra welling inside of him and used the hiding like a mole technique to put himself underground and he kept going, it was not enough as even though he was put underground all the way to bedrock the explosion hit a third of the remaining population of shinobi, however the explosion caused Naruto to fall into a coma, unknown by other shinobi as they assumed he was dead, unable to find his body.
Under the earth he slept, and he wouldn't awaken for some time.
