"He called me." Josh said his voice was shaky and frail. "Who called you?" Tyler inquired Josh seemed sadder than usual and it was worrying him. "My ex." Tyler turned around to face Josh. He didn't have any words. "Uhh...How'd he get your number?" Was the first thing Tyler thought of saying. "I don't know. I'm scared. What if he tracks me down or shows up here to try to hurt me again." Tyler walked over to where Josh was sitting on the couch and sat next to him. Wrapping his arms around Josh in a warm embrace. "Don't worry. Nothing will happen to you I promise. I'm here to protect you. You have nothing to worry about." Josh couldn't help but feel even worse. He could potentially be putting Tyler's life in danger not only that but he was taking advantage of him. He didn't know how to voice any of those thoughts in his head so he stayed quiet and enjoyed Tyler's loving embrace. For now he would stop worrying but he had to come up with a plan so that Tyler wouldn't get caught in the crossfire.
