Haley is 16 and is in high school in New Jersey. She gets paired up with her bully Grayson Dolan for a school project. Will they fall in love? Or will they despise each other even more after the problems that are thrown at them.
He looks over at me. We stare at each other for a couple of seconds until Gray decides to break the silence.
"Who do you love?" He asks in a soft voice, I can hear that he's a bit worried. I smile and look at the ground, then back up at his eyes. I can't help but stare at his beautiful face. His soft pink lips. His floppy messy hair in his face. His perfect jawline. And his perfect hazel eyes.
"I love you...." A smile forms on his lips and his eyes light up. He stands up and rests his forehead on mine. I close my eyes, and I can feel his warm breath on my cheek.
"I love you too...." He whispers. I kiss his lips, and he kisses me back with passion. His hands trail up to my face, and he rubs his thumb on my cheek. The butterflies start to form in my stomach again. I smile into the kiss and so does he.
"What?" He asks.
"It's just that, I actually feel happy. It's been such a long time since I've felt this. And it's only you that can make me feel this way." I say. He sits down on the edge of the bed.
"And I'm the only one that can make you feel some other way." He says smirking. I laugh and he does to.
"Maybe we'll find out when I get better."
"Oh, it's not like you haven't already found out. Remember when I-"
"Oookkk, that's enough Gray. I remember what happened." I say cutting him off and I feel my face get hot. I look away and look down at the ground.
"Aw, you're so cute when you blush." He says grabbing my face. I scrunch up my nose and close my eyes for a few seconds, then I just stare at the cute smile on his face. He lets go then I grab his face and copy what he was doing to me.

I quickly peck his lips then let go of his face.
"You're so cute." I say. He pushes me a bit to the side and gets in my bed with me. I rest my head on his chest and just listen to his breathing. I slowly start to feel my eyes get heavy, so I close them and eventually fall asleep. And of course, I dream about Grayson.
Gray's P.O.V
I was about to fall asleep when I looked down at Haley. She had a cute smile on her face and she hugged me a bit tighter. I smiled to myself and closed my eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep. I hold Haley as close to my body as possible and I hug her tighter, never wanting to let go...
*40 minutes later*
Haley's P.O.V.
"Haley...." I groan in response.
"Haley wake up or else I'll eat your food." Gray says and I open my eyes.
"Don't fucking touch my food." I say trying to sit up. He laughs a bit and I smile. I wince in pain, then I remember about my arms. I sit up more carefully and I look at Gray who's sitting on the chair next to my bed with a bag of food in his lap. He hands me the bag and I open it taking out my food.
"Here." I say with a mouthful of food and hand Gray some fries. He happily takes them all and shoves them in his face making me giggle. I look around the room for Ethan and find him sitting on the floor eating his food.
"Thanks for the food E. And you know you can sit with me, you don't have to eat your food on the floor. You look like more of a weirdo than you already are." He laughs then gets up to sit with me.
"Your welcome, yes I know, and wow thanks." We both smile and just eat our food. We all talk and goof around for awhile too. We get so carried away that we don't realize that it's already 9:30.
"Wow, we've been talking for like seven hours." Ethan says checking his phone.
"We should get going and let you rest." Ethan says.
"Nooooo, stay with me pleeeease!" I whine.
"You can go home bro, I'll stay with Haley." Gray says getting in bed with me.
"You sure?" Ethan says walking towards the door. Gray just nods his head. I lift my arms up wanting a hug from E. He smiles and walks to my bed and gives me a hug.
"I'll see you tomorrow, ok you goofy little meatball?" I laugh at the stupid name Ethan called me and nod my head.
"I'll see you tomorrow." I say as Ethan let's go and walks to the door. He waves, and me and Gray wave back before he leaves. He closes the door leaving me and Gray in silence. Gray then reaches over and grabs a bottle of pills opening it and taking one out. He then reaches for a water bottle and opens it.
"I almost forgot to tell you that you need to take your medicine." He hands me the pill and the water bottle. I sigh and put the pill in my mouth, then take a big sip of water. I cough a bit as I hand the water bottle back to Gray.
"Ugh, I fucking hate pills. They always get stuck in my throat." He laughs and puts the water bottle back on the table next to my bed.
"Should we go to bed?" He asks as he looks at me.
"Pffft, since when do we sleep." Gray chuckles.
"That's true. So do you want to watch Netflix than?" He asks.
Netflix and chill....
"Uh, yeah, that's fine. Ohh, we should watch Riverdale." I say getting excited. He smiles and nods his head.
"Can you pass me my phone?" I ask Gray. He doesn't answer and just stares at my face.
