1 - Truth or Dare

I don't like to talk much before writing. So I'm usually going to just give you the story instead of taking up your time with me talking. It's also my first time writing something like this, let alone writing a story at all. Please don't judge and enjoy!

Narrator's POV

You were friends with Cuphead and Mugman for a while now and you guys were the best of friends. All of you were about the same age, 13 if being exact. But on a beautiful day like this, you were playing outside and acting like little kids. Playing tag, hide and seek, and even trying to catch butterflies. It was to drain out your energy since you had nothing better to do. So while you were outside you decided to bring in a little game called truth or dare...

(Y/N) POV

"Guys, I am so bored. What do we do now?" "Well  we could catch more butterflies," suggested Mugman. "Nah, we did enough of that already," you replied. "Ok, well how about a little game I like to call truth or dare?" said Cuphead excitedly.Wow! The last time I remember playing that game was when I almost got eaten by a bear. You quickly changed your mind, given the fact that the memory made you anxious and you didn't like giant things that can eat you.

"Ok, that's cool with me, what about you Mugs?" "Oh, that's fine! Just as long as (Y/N) doesn't have to harass a giant grizzly again." Mugman said worriedly. So you guys started the game. It was your turn to ask someone so you took the chance quick. "Cuphead, your my first victim today. How are you feeling? "Pretty confident since last time it was to easy! So go ahead and give me one of your dares!" smirked Cuphead. "Oh really? Well since you seem so confident in your skills, how about you go ahead and climb one of the tallest trees and stay there the rest of the game, Mr. Smarty pants." "Watch me!" yelled Cuphead.

Then with that Cuphead climbed up a tree and sat on one of the sturdier branches so he didn't fall. "Since when could you do that!?" You screamed up to Cuphead. "Since Mugman got a book on how to," Cuphead said simply. When the heck did authors start writing about how to climb trees? You glance at Mugman and he just shrugs.

Mugman's POV

"Since Mugman got a book on how to," Cuphead said simply. (Y/N) looked at me and I just shrugged. It was my turn now. So I turned to Cuphead to give him a second dare go on his game. "So Cuphead... are you ready to face my wrath? So what is it, truth or dare?" "Ok, I pick truth. Just kidding! I would never do truth even if my life depended on it! So I choose dare and give me your best one!" said Cuphead. "Well in that case I hope you don't mind if you climb back down that tree. Then grab any wild animal and kiss it!" giggled Mugman.

Cuphead's POV

"You think that's too much for me? Well you'll see!" I smirked at them and then climbed down the tree. I went into the thick forest and tiptoed around the dry leaves. They we're off the trees and on the ground. They were dry which means they crunched every time I stepped on them. I spotted the perfect animal. A squirrel was just digging in the ground near a small tree. I snuck up behind the tree the squirrel was near and then I pounced on it. It squirmed a bit but then it stopped. It looked terrified. But nevertheless I took it back to the group and still holding it in my hands, I kissed it. Right on the nose. "Woah you actually kissed it!" said Mugman. "Now that I have to say is pretty impressive!" Spoke (Y/N). I smiled to them and let the squirrel go. It scampered away and I sat back down in the circle.

(Y/N) POV

I still cannot believe Cuphead kissed that squirrel. I swam out of my thoughts and focused more on the game. "Cuphead, it's your turn to ask someone." "Ok let me think... Hmm... (Y/N) truth or dare?" I choose truth a lot so I think I will choose dare this time. It's more fun if I do choose dare anyways. "Ok, I'll choose dare." you said confidently. "Oh, I got a good one! How about you go to the Devil's Casino and make some bets?" Everyone just stares at Cuphead for awhile. "Well?" asked Cuphead.

You hated it when you chickened out on things like this. But the Devil's Casino? That is too dangerous. "Umm well... I'll do it." "Yes!" cried the cups in unison. "But on one condition, you guys have to go with me because I am not doing it alone." "Of course, we will (Y/N). We can't jut let you roam around there by yourself." replied Mugman. "Thanks guys. So what are we waiting for, let's go!"
