The meeting room was full, only no business was being discussed. Half of the participants had left, and the other half were arguing or just being a nuisance. I was sat next to Francis, a French man who always smelt like cheese, Gilbert, a weird man who claimed to be Prussian, and a Spanish airhead named Antonio. They were not the best company but considering the other options fighting on the other end of the room, I was glad to be sitting on the calmer side of things.

"You should go and sit with him." Antonio smiled, pushed me slightly in Lovino's direction.

Lovino was a guy from south Italy, he preferred to be called Romano by others but he said that he liked it when I called him 'Lovi'. He was a nice looking guy, brown hair, green eyes, olive complexion, about 23 years old and kinda cute. But he was rude to those around him unless they were a lady. Luckily for me, I was tourist in his country once and he was charming, only now that he had gotten used to me he's a little less charming and more frustrating.

Oh, and these three idiots somehow found out that I held a candle for him.

"Mon cheri, you should go. Tell him!" Francis smiled. "Proclaim your love for him!"

"SHHH!" I yelped, covering his blabbering gob. "Do you want the world to hear you?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact, I do." He retorted, throwing my hand away.

"He vil be awesome about it, don't vorry zo much." Gil chuckled, leaning back on his chair.

"He was very understanding growing up, he won't hurt you." Antonio smiled.

"Wait, how old are you?" I shook my head in confusion, but let it drop when I never received a response.

"Go. He looks so lonely, cheer him up. Grace him with your presence." Francis physically pushed me out of my seat and I rolled my eyes. I wasn't getting out of this.

So I headed over.

Lovino was currently looking in the direction of his brother, Feliciano, and his brother's friends, Ludwig and Kiku. Kiku was sporting a very uncomfortable expression as Feliciano sat much to close for comfort, and Ludwig was just his usual emotionless self. That was until Feli began to pester the German male, resulting in a rather angry and shouty Ludwig.

I chuckled as Lovino scrunched up his face at his brother's stupidity. He was always so grumpy.

"Lovi." I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Yes, what is it [Y/N]." He huffed, not looking in my direction.

"Can you smile for me?"

Lovino looked at me with confusion and shock. "Why would I smile when there is nothing to smile about?"

"Well, that was a little insulting." I pouted. "Why am I nothing to smile about?"

"I never said such a thing." He folded his arms and I moaned in frustration.

I rounded him and sat on his lap, looking directly into his eyes. "Oh come on Lovi, you're usually much more flirty than this, it's strange."

"I'm really not in the mood."

"Oh come on Lovi." I kissed his cheek. "Please."

He blushed profoundly, clearly shocked by my action, and to be frank I was too, I haven't the slightest idea why I kissed him, but it felt right. However, Lovino's scowl didn't cease, so I began to look back to Francis. As I turned my head I felt a warm sensation on my cheek, something that startled me. I didn't even get to look to Francis as I turned back to Lovino who was sitting quietly with a nervous blush. He kissed me back.

"Lovino?" I blushed, holding on tightly to his shoulders.

He didn't say a word, but the corners of his lips began to twitch. Oh my god, was he trying to smile? It was hilarious.

I snorted and covered my mouth so I couldn't burst out laughing.

"Hey! And you say I'm rude!" He huffed, but I rolled my eyes.

Should I?

"You asked me to smile, and now you're laughing at it."

Can I?

"I don't know why I go along with you sometimes."

I will.

I leant forward and held his cheeks between my palms. He looked surprised, and yet something told me he was happy deep down. And so, I pulled him in for a kiss.

It was slow at first, and with this being my first kiss it was easy to see I hadn't done this before. However, that was when Lovino removed my hands from his cheeks and placed them around his neck. He then held my waist, pulled me closer on his lap, and turned his head to deepen the action. I was blushing intensely, I was a mess of red and he skillfully made all the right moves to make me swoon. The kiss soon became a little more passionate; with tongue involvement and hair grabbing it got quite steamy. I was getting more and more aroused by the way he was making me feel that I broke the kiss by almost falling off his lap.

"Whoa, [Y/N], are you okay?" Lovino grabbed me before I fell.

"Oh my god," I muttered under my breath, though I'm pretty sure that was more to do with the kiss than the fall. "Your skill made me fall." I whispered, not looking at his face.

He was breathing even more heavily than I was. I could feel him getting aroused beneath me and I was scared to look at his face. My confidence had all but depleted, he had drained me of my courage and now I was nothing more than a blushing maiden in his arms.

That was when I heard a small chuckle.

I looked up to see Lovino smiling that devilishly charming smile and laughing. He had a slight brush of pink across his cheeks and, once he had calmed down, he looked at me with the most amorous eyes I had ever seen.

"Ti amo, [Y/N]." He smiled.

And boy, did he smiled.
