Chapter 1

Hello, my name is Maddie, my best friends are Gus De St Jeor, and Ross Lynch.

"You've gotta come!" Gus said

"I'm just not feeling it" I said

"Its always our thing to go to the beach every friday night and crash a beach party" Gus said

"I'm sorry" I said grabbing his hand

"Tomorrow night we are going then" Gus said

"Okay" I said

Gus got up and left my house. I honestly didn't feel like going out tonight, and I don't know why, lately I've only been wanting to be around Ross. So Ross is coming over.

"Hey" Ross said walking into my room 5 minutes later

"Hey" I smiled

"What are you doing?" He asked

"Thinking" I said

"About?" Ross asked concerned.

"Stuff. Just don't tell Gus you're here" I said

"Why?" Ross asked

"Friday nights..him and I go crash beach parties but I didn't feel like it tonight" I said

"Ah, okay" Ross said

He picked up the guitar that was in the corner of my room, and started singing

Don't make a sound,

Watching,
All the commotion

The kiddie like playing
It has people talking
Talking
You
Your sex is on fire...

He continued the song that was by Kings of Leon.

He put my guitar back on the stand and walked over to me. He kissed me, which he has never done before, so it threw me off.

"I'm sorry, I just had to do that" Ross said.

"You..you like me?" I stuttered

"Have for 3 years now" Ross said

"Maddie, time to go!" Gus said

We walked out to his car and drove to Venice Beach. There's loud music playing, everyone dancing, so we joined in.

"I wanted to tell you something" Gus said

"Well, what is it?" I asked

"I like you" Gus said.

Can this just get even more complicated? Ross likes me. Gus likes me. Next thing I knew Gus kissed me.

The night flew by...we drank, stayed at his familys beach house.

"Come on it'll be fine" Gus said

We continued making out, things got heated. He moved his lips from my mouth to my neck. And yeah, you know the rest.

"Rydel, I need to talk to you" I said

"What's up?" She asked dragging me into her room.

"Ross likes me. Gus likes me." I said

"Shit" She said

"Hold on, it gets worse. They both kissed me" I said

"Anything else?" She asked

"A couple nights ago after a party, Gus and I..." I said
