Before the sun had reached its peke we were all seated in the thrown room. Myself sat on my fathers right, Jetta his left. all the knights stood around the large expanse of hall. some stood in groups, others with there wife's. Alfred stood next to me. medical supplies in a bag behind him.
I fiddled with my crown. it was a plane ringlet, not nearly the size of my fathers, but it was still uncomfortable.
I didn't like wearing it
After the eventful evening prier, my father dismissed us. telling us that we needed rest and that we could start the inquiry in the morrow.
Sleep did not come Easily that night. I was still alert from the fight that I had just wittiest
And intrigued by the allusive woman that it all seemed to revolve around.
From the short time i have seen of her, I knew that her intelligence was unmatched and her quickness if wit promised interesting conversation.
Also Her mastery of words was I thing to behold. an Innocent thing. but used to deadly effect in her control. Taking all she can see with those green orbs and giving away nothing in return.
I knew that it was not wise to be in her company. Especially wile her intentions remands unknown.
But I couldn't help but want to see more of her.
I was snapped out of my revere by the heavy doors opening to reveal the two guards that had bin sighed to guard her.
The room grew hushed as the guards came in front of my father. bowing in respect to there king.
He sat up straight. crown sat regally on his head, glinting in the suns raise.
"Of what news do you have to give?" his voice echoed powerfully around the room. not kneading to shout to make himself herd.
" Your Majesty, I am glad to report that the prisoner has shown no signs of aggression.
Or attempt of escape... but.."
"But?"
The second of the two stepped forward. "my lord. she appears to not need to sleep. once locked in her cell she proceeded to remove there outer garments..."
"Are you telling me that she is indecent?"
"no my lord, she had a form of male clothes on underneath."
He ponders this Peace of information for a moment.
"any thing other then this?"
"Yes. we took this from her near sun rise. she found interest in repeatedly throwing it at the wall, catching it as it returned to her. she called it a bouncing ball. The noise it made was of most annoyance. she is a stubborn on. we were only Abel to get it out of her position in the early hours of the morn. After some ....convincing "
He held out his hand to show the room at large. in his palm was a brightly coolers ball, just small enough to fit into his fist. he teared his hand, allowing it to fall to the floor.
For a moment I was worried that the colorful spear wold shatter. but instead it bounced back into his awaiting hand with the same force as it fell with a loud 'badoing'
My father seemed unimpressed but t thought it was an interesting thing. A part of me wanted to ask for it, to have a try, but I resisted the childish temptation.
"Is that all?"
Both guards bowed low. "Yes that is all?"
"Very well. bring her in."
