Anna's POV:

Two days later after the festival.

"Ugh! School again?" Ethan groaned as we all walked down the streets

"Come on, Ethan" David looks at him, "You didn't even do anything since the festival"

"I was picking up some chicks" he replied, "What did you do? Huh, David Heathecote" he said with a sarcastic tone in his voice

"I was with a girl, Banging" he proudly replied

"Will you stop that? It's disgusting" Yu butts in, "I'm trying to focus on studying since I didn't passed last quarter's test"

We all looked at him, he seems to have a hard time memorizing.

"That's what you get when you're too focused on girls and not studying, idiots..." Louis sighs, then went ahead of us

"Al?", we gazed at his direction but he already ran towards the other path. Cut classes of course

"You look like you're in a good mood, Anna" Ethan said, "Probably because you don't have to take another test like Yu"

"Well, I'm positively sure I ranked 1st in our batch" I responded

Their eyes were widened from what I said.

"Wait, you still haven't seen the rankings, yet?" they all questioned

"Yep. I was too busy" I replied innocently

"Whaaaaat?!" they screamed, "We already know who ranked 1st" Ethan continued

"No need to tell me, I want to see it by myself" I said, "Gotta go! I'm almost late for class"

****

"You got here faster" I furrowed my eyebrows as I saw Alyn

"You got here slower" he replied then sat on his seat

"Whatever" I rolled my eyes then sat as well

His presence has been giving me a bad day. Why does he even go to class.

I can feel him gazing at me, I feel very uncomfortable like he's watching every inch of my body

"I heard that you haven't seen the rankings yet" he said

"Yep" I replied shortly

I grabbed my notebook and started reviewing my assignment in math if it's correct or not.

Alyn moves his chair closer to mine then gazed at my work

"Your answer in no. 2 is wrong" he pointed out, "No. 3 also, and 4,5,6"

I slammed my palm to cover my notebook, gesturing him to get the fuck away from it.

"How would you know that?! You don't even listen to class and you're telling me that my answers were wrong?" I raised my voice with anger

He, then, quietly went back to his desk and minded his own business. I felt really bad when I said mean things to him but this is the only way to make him stop bothering me

He glanced at me one last time

"Idiot" I whispered

*RIIIINGGG*

****

So far, he hasn't spoke to me ever since that morning which is good. We even sat at the same table in lunch.

Now it's time for our Arts in English class. The teacher was blabbering about another upcoming event for the next month.

"Now students, it is another year for the school's Play Festival! Which is coming up next month" he announced
