Chapter One: The Meeting
Claudia’s P.O.V
It was my first concert. Ever. So I was, naturally, excited. I went with my best friends Bryana, Emma, and Lauren. We were sitting up close to the stage. And close to Louis. And the other boys! Don’t get me wrong, I love those boys, but I had a little soft spot for Louis. I got into, and i mean WAY into the concert. And when I thought that nothing could go wrong, Louis speaks up, “Now I’m going to call one lucky girl up to the stage with me and the lads.” And he says it. I’m done. I know he won’t pick me. ‘Fat chance o that one, it ain’t gonna happen. Better get back to reality…’ Big thanks to Shania for popping in my head with words that did and didn’t comfort me. There was no chance, though, of him seeing me. There were dozens of more mature and more beautiful girls right in front of Lou’s eyes. Oh well, I thought and sighed. That’s life.
Emma’s P.O.V
I looked up at Louis when he said that. Me and the girls all knew that Claudia had some (SOME???!!!) feelings for him, which was sweet but she knew to never let her guard down. Especially for him. Now here I am, standing beside her and trying to comfort her as I know she’s not okay. She’s mumbling something that I can’t hear because the crowd IS TOO LOUD! What I manage to catch isn’t something she wanted me to hear. “…Never will it be me.” I sighed. She really is difficult, but we all are. I’m about to comfort her again, but suddenly something is different. I can see her clearly now. She is no longer a shadow in the dark, and I see why. Louis is there, that stupid light following him everywhere, with his hand extended towards Claudia. She isn’t looking. Silly girl. So I, being a good friend, nudge her and she looks up…and nearly faints. Yup. She cool. But she takes his hand as he leads her in stage, careful not to hurt her. And i just stand there, like the moron I am and try not to be jealous. Who says I can’t be? Lol. Don’t worry I love her and I want her to have fun. Jeez that girl needs to lighten up. I send her a text. Man up girl! You look like you’re shitting a brick and you need to stop it. :) xx. My job here is done.
Claudia’s P.O.V
Man up girl! You look like you’re shitting a brick and you need to stop it. :) xx Oh yeah sure. It’s that simple. It’s not my fault I’m a pretty big fan but she’s right no matter how much I hate to admit it. Let loose and lighten up is my motto. Now…I’m gonna get my party on with 1D which pretty much means, I’m going to look like a complete dork in front of them and not get judged by them cuz they are just as weird<3
~After Concert~
No One’s P.O.V
The boys, plus the lucky girl, go backstage to talk and get to know each other as the night is still young.
Louis’ P.O.V
I quickly started a conversation with this mesmerizing girl. She was like no other die-hard fan, as she claimed to be. Just at that moment, her friends walked in, as they were responsible for taking her home. How they got in was a complete mystery to me, and Kevin was off with his friends. Besides, he never talked to the other anyway. Just as soon, Harry sweeps in, talking to this girl’s friends. I never have learned her name yet, so I ask. She doesn’t hesitate to answer. “Claudia,” she says laughing. Wow, I think, what an adorable laugh. We go back to talking, but I’m sidetracked a bit as Harry tries to win over a friend os Claudia’s. It isn’t going too well, and it’s sort of funny to see him strike out. I try to eavesdrop and Claudia, realizing what I’m doing, just stands up and walks closely by them. With major stupidity I think, because I believe she will fail. However that is not the case. Only complete opposite. She gives me a look as if to say they’re oblivious and what they don’t know cannot hurt them. I shrug and join her. She’s right. Bloody hell, Harry’s as blind as a bat. He must be trying really hard. I can hear them right now…
Harry’s P.O.V
I saw that girl who Louis chose to come on stage friends come out to meet her backstage. I immediately started talking to her, trying to use some of my British charm. It didn’t work. One. Bit. But something must have turned in her brain because i could’ve sworn i saw a twinkle in her eyes that made me ask her, “Would you like to go out with me sometime?” She was going to say yes. I just knew it. I smiled. “No. Unless you change the way you treat the girls you take out, no.” My smile faltered. NO. She said no. I couldn’t believe me ears. The boy who easily got most of the girls, couldn’t get this tiny, beautiful brunette to go out with him. She looked pleased with herself as she must’ve noticed I was having an internal rage with my thoughts and feelings. I at least wanted to know her name, but for some reason I couldn’t bring myself to it. I looked down. I felt awful. I knew she noticed, but she never said a thing, and left me to my own thoughts. But I knew what I was going to do. Just as I was finally deciding my plans I heard a voice. “Emma!” The girl talking to Louis ran over to meet the girl I was just talking to. Emma. Emma. Emma. I repeated the name in my head. It was cute. It fitted her. “Guess what?” I heard Claudia practically shout. “I’m going on a date with Louis! He was so sweet! And I even have his number. He actually is texting me right n-” she was saying as her phone went off. She squealed. Emma was congratulating her as Claudia was pretty much having her own little dance. Not long before Louis (of course) showed up by her side, only to start doing a really odd looking, 2-person dance. And her eyes just lit up like fireworks inside. Louis works fast, I thought. How does he do that?? But I never got the chance to ask him because they had started talking again and I didn’t want to interrupt. So naturally, I went over to Liam, as I needed Daddy Direction’s assistance. Only to find that he was busy. Talking to, yet another, brunette whose name I happened to catch. “Bryana,” she whispered. Hmm, maybe she’s afraid to talk. “Bryana,” I heard Liam repeat, under his breath. “Such a pretty name.” She giggled, which seemed to make Liam’s day. “Here,” he said, “take my number, and..well..text me sometime!” By the look on the girl’s face, you could tell she would. Just as I turned to be free of this nightmare, I was met yet again by another one. Niall was talking to a really pretty girl whose hair was a strawberry blonde and whose eyes were a piercing green. She looked kind, but scared all the while. I don’t know what for. Niall would never hurt a fly. But that’s only cuz he wouldn’t be able to catch it. Hehe I’m a cheeky fella, I know. But clearly I need to step up my game and secure Emma. Before someone else does.
