My headaches were finally gone by now and I was at the top of my game in the field. We won from Ravenclaw the other day with 240 against 60 after playing for three days the captains agreed that Gryffindor had a lead which Ravenclaw couldn't catch up too anymore. What was even more amazing than the win, was that Oliver placed Rey in the base instead of Peter due to her excellent performance in the field. And tonight she had her first ever quidditch-win-after-party.

"So, excited about tonight?" Felice poked Rey awake with her elbow from her thoughts. Rey sighed "It's really all I can think about. I always wanted to go to a quidditch party. Like mini-Rey would be freaking about if she knew she would ever go to such a party." Felicia laughed "Let me guess, mini-Rey had her room full of quidditch posters and would pretend some stick was her broom while jumping off her bed." Rey looked at Felice trying to hold her laughter in "I do not deny or confirm anything." The girls bursted into laughter.

"Girls, this is the library we demand silence to study." Cedric sat down next to Felice and Rey felt someone's hand on her head. She looked up to find her older brother with a big smirk on his face. "Omg Duncan, get off of me you tease!" Rey removed her brother's hand and he sat down next to her smiling at Cedric. "Is 'silent study' really your best excuse to bother us?" Rey using air quotes to emphasize the idiotic excuse. "Oh come on sissie, I know you love me." He says while looking at her with a devious smile. Rey looked away, but broke her cool and bursted out in laughter and gave Duncan a playful nudge. "So ladies what is so incredible fun that we just had to come over?" Cedric asked curiously.  "Rey here has her first quidditch after-party" Felicia reacted. "Oh I totally forgot" Cedric said "A shame you could not be there after the match against Hufflepuff. I broke the record of the most fire whiskey shots." Proudly sitting up straight like it was his best accomplishment ever. "Yeah and then he made the great accomplishment to be hungover the entire weekend and guess who took care of him?" Duncan sneered back. "Well Duncan, we all need a little Hufflepuff in our lives to take care of us" Rey replied and stuck her tongue out afterwards. Felicia looked at the large clock in the library and bolted from her seat "We're late for transfiguration" she said while panicky cleaning her books from her table." Rey stood up like nothing was happening and slowly put her books in her messenger bag. "Come on Rey! I cannot be late for this subject." Felice tugged on my arm. "Yeah yeah like McGonagall is going to punish her favorite." Felice gave Rey a serious look that could kill. She hated to be called the teachers pet even though she kind of was. Rey was embarrassed "I am so sorry Felice, I didn't mean to" Felice dragged her to transfiguration class "Never mind it" Felice mumbled under her breath. Rey was wondering whether she meant that or if she was just being polite.

McGonagall unfortunately was not in a very forgiving mood today and gave both of them detention after class. They had to write an essay for transfiguration and could only leave when it was finished. Felice was mad at Rey which Rey feared from the moment she made the remark about being the teacher's pet. She had not talked to her since class started and Felice was almost done with her essay. Rey threw over a note to Felice with I am sorry written on it, but Felice did not even bother to look at it. Rey whispered "Come on Felice, you know I didn't mean that" Felice continued to ignore her. But Rey did not let that stop her and whispered a little louder "Feliceeeee I am sorryyy". But unfortunate Rey can't really whisper that well and McGonagall puts her fist down on her table. "Miss Fawley if you cannot keep your mouth shut I will transfigure your essay into a brick and then you can start all over again" Rey looked down at her still blank piece of paper "Well mam, you might as well for my essay is momentarily non-existent" Rey reacted. "Miss Fawley!" McGonagall shouted with a disciplined high voice and stood up from her desk as a last warning. Rey immediately grabbed her quill and turned her head to the paper before she would cause yet again another set of points being taken from Gryffindor and also McGonagall is a scary lady when she is angry.

Felice was already done while Rey was still looking through her book for a topic for her essay. She walked up to McGonagall's desk to hand it in. McGonagall glanced at it and gave her a satisfying look nodding to the door that she could leave. Rey on the other hand was baffled by all the transfiguration topics and decided just point a random page in her book and do it on that topic. She closed her eyes and opened the book on page 167. "Ani...magus" She said to herself while moving her fingertips over the picture of a man shifting into a dog. She only had some basic knowledge on the subject, but found herself eager about the subject. Being from a Hufflepuff family she cared greatly about magical and non-magical creatures. She wrote the whole essay using the book on the topic of how to become an animagus and explaining what influences the form of your animagus.

After she was done, she walked up to McGonagall's desk to hand it in and was stopped by her before she could walk out. "Why the interest in animagus miss Fawley?" McGonagall asked. "I just chose a random subject miss, but it might be the first topic of transfiguration that interests me" Rey said boldly as it would not be wise to say something like that to a teacher, no wonder Rey is not in Ravenclaw. McGonagall sighed "As long as you be careful and don't get any stupid thoughts in your head" She said with a serious undertone "Becoming an animagus can be dangerous and one must accompanied by an experienced wizard or which when doing so". "Aren't you an animagus?" Rey asked reminding herself the memory of the first class from McGonagall when she wanted to pet the cat unknowing that that was the teacher. "I am and I learned from Dumbledore who is one of the wisest wizards of our time." "Don't worry mam, I rather be on my broomstick than to become an animal and at least I should to start by improving my patronus and see what animal that is. I do not want to turn into a fly." Rey chuckled and McGonagall gave her permission to leave.

Rey walked into the common room and up the stairs to change her clothes for the after-party. The essay took some time and the party was in an hour. Before she entered the girls dorm the boys dorm room swung open. "Where the bloody hell were you?" Rey turned around to see a furious Oliver standing in the doorway. "Shoot" Rey thought "I missed practice because of detention and frankly she just forgot about it because of her excitement of the party. "I am so sorry Oliver" she said in an apologetic voice "I had detention after transfiguration and I hoped that McGonagall informed you about it". "No she most certainly did not. She might be the head of Gryffindor, but it is your responsibility to inform me and to attend practice." Oliver said with a dead serious look in his eyes. "I .." But Oliver would not let Rey speak. "And don't think that I will put you in the base against Slytherin. There are enough substitutes who do always attend practice and are not getting themselves into detention." Oliver was now standing really close to Rey. Rey again wanted to apologize, but Oliver still did not want to hear it. "You might think you are the star of the team, but you only make a good team if you play like a team. This is the third practice you missed due to detention and you have been late so many times for the morning runs with the team in the weekend." Oliver pushed Rey against the wall and had his hand above her hand. They stared into each others eyes for a while. Rey saw Olivers intense look and she could not help to be a little afraid of his anger. Oliver stepped back as if he suddenly emerged from some trance "Shite, I did not mean to do that Fawley. I can get carried away sometimes, but you know damn well what I mean." Oliver looked away in embarrassment "I will see you at the party Fawley." He walked back to the boys dorm and slammed the door. Rey was still a little startled but she pulled her self together and went into her room to change.
