I believed in love at first sight, but she didn´t.
-Steve! Steve! Steve! Steve!
The crowd was getting crazy! Everybody was shouting my name like there was no tomorrow. Of course they loved me, I was the best American football player. I headed to the dressing room. I was showered in sweat. I had to prepare myself for John´s party tonight and I was really exited because it was at the beach. Nobody was going to miss it, only a nerd.
-Mom, I am home- I didn´t bother on waiting for her answer, she was always at her study, I only saw her at dinner time. But we never talk, only for important things like: “can you pass me the salt?” Or “I am washing the dishes today”. I ran like a lightening upstairs, took clean clothes and rushed to the bathroom to take a fresh shower. I totally relaxed when I felt the cold water slide down my muscles. With a towel in my waist I opened the door and bumped with something hard.
- Ouch – I looked up, my mother was staring at me with an emotionless face.
-Are you going out tonight? - I didn´t understand my mother, why was she suddenly worrying about my social life, after what she did to my family.
-Why do you care? Tell me. did you finally decide to talk to me? To answer my questions? - I was really angry.
She kept quiet. Ignoring what I said, she just turned around and went down stairs. At that moment I wanted to grab her arm and start yelling at her a million things that I was keeping inside of me. But I didn´t.
Frustrated I looked down at my watch and realized that I had ten minutes to get dressed before my friend Nick pick me up.

- Hey bro, whats upp? - I greeted Nick as I entered the car. - Are you ready to make out with girls?-I said pushing his arm jokingly.
-Sure man. And you?
-Yeah. Less talk and more party.
