King Roran and Queen Lililanna looked at eachother, hand in hand as the whole situtation finally started to sink in.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Little Aiya yelled, running in as she was escorted by a man named Phillip, her personal body guard. She rushed into their arms and gave them each a tight hug.

"Hey my little angel." Said Lilianna, trying to hide the sadness in her voice from the unsuspecting 9 year old. "How was your day?"

"Fun!" she said excitedly, jumping up and down. "We went to the park and looked at the fish and I even caught one!" she said proudly.

"Thats amazing!" Praised Roran, unable to smile. Sensing something wrong, the little princess frowned.

"Why are you guys sad?" She asked, backing up a step. Lilianna got onto her knees and put her hands on her daughter's shoulders.

"Aiya, you know we love you, right?" Unsure of what was going on, she nodded slowly. "Good. Because you really are our whole world, my little angel." Biting her lip, Lilianna pulled her into a tight hug.

"Mommy..." Aiya muttered. "Whats going on?"

"Aiya." Roran stated, kneeling himself. "We have decided that it's not safe for you here anymore.. Not where the Jays may be able to reach you." Finally seeing where this was going, Aiya ripped herself out of her mother's grip.

"NO!" she shouted. "I don't want to leave! I want to stay here with you..!"

"Sweetheart, its for your own good-"

"No! No! No!" She stamped her foot, tears falling everywhere. "Don't make me! Please! Don't make me go!"

"It won't be forever... just for now." Lilianna tried to smile. "Just until were strong enough to protect you."

"Mommy!"

"Phillip will be there." Roran motioned to Phillip, who nodded to Aiya. "Dayna will be too." Out of the shadows, Dayna, who was the top dog on the royal guard, stepped out. "You'll be so much more protecteted under them." Aiya could no longer speak, so she kept crying instead. The little princess fell to her knees.

"Kayan." Roran said quietly, and a little boy just a year or two older then Aiya stepped out. He was dressed nicely in royal clothes.

"Kayan." Aiya whispered, looking at her best friend.

"Aiy-aiy." He placed a hand on her head, then looked at the king and queen. His magic specialized in illusions.

"you may forget us, but we will always be part of you." Lilianna whimpered, finally letting her tears go.

"Be brave, angel." Roran said quietly. "We love you so much." I was then Kayan's turn.

"Aiy-aiy, it may be scary, but I'll always have your real memories with me. I'll protect them with my life. So don't make that face. You look 30% more ugly when you cry." Despite the situation, Aiya laughed. Kayan always made fun of her when she cried and it always got her to smile.

"I love you, Kayan." she choked out.

"I love you too, Aiya." Shouting out a word, they were covered in a bright white light, and then Aiya fell forward into Kayan's arms. The little boy staggered under her weight, but held her up nonetheless. "Until we meet again, my princess."
