Okay, I derped. I wrote this chapter two days ago and I thought I posted it but I apparently didn't. Oops!
I open my eyes and find myself on a couch in a room I've only seen once in my life. I look around, discovering that I am indeed in the recording room at Yogtowers. My eyes widen, and I scream a little, causing a certain ginger to look over in surprise. "Are you okay, Andi?" Simon asks, looking at me curiously. I nod, trying to hide my excitement.
"I'm at Yogtowers!" I scream, throwing the whole 'hiding my excitement' out the window. Simon laughs and stands, shaking another ginger, who is sleeping, then leaving the room. Sparkles* sits up, rubbing his eyes, and smiles when he sees me.
"Hi, Andi. I wanted to talk to you, but we both fell asleep." He says, looking at his wrist. I nod, not that he's looking.
"What did you want to talk about?" I ask. Sparkles* opens the desk in front of him and pulls out a photograph, showing it to me. It's a picture of a very familiar boy, he looks about ten, with red hair. It looks like Sparkles*. "Is that you?" I ask, and he nods, putting the picture away and showing me another one. It's the same boy and a little girl, standing outside. The thing that strikes my interest is that the girl looks a lot like me. I look up at Sparkles* and he leans forward, pushing my hair away from my eye. I freeze, and Sparkles* sighs, smiling and dropping my hair back down.
"I knew it. I knew it as soon as I saw you, Cassie." He says. I gasp when I hear my old nickname.
"No one knows my full name, much less my nickname! Only my parents and my brother called my that, everyone else called me Andi!" I exclaim, my mind still not connecting the dots. Sparkles* grins, shaking his head.
"I'm your brother, Cassandra. Cassandra Clarke." He says, and the world goes black.
~Timeskip to when Andi/Cassie/Cassandra/whatever-the-heck-her-name-is wakes up~
I groan, opening my eyes once again. Joakim and Sparkles* are both leaning over me worriedly, and both smile when I sit up, backing away. I look at Sparkles* and gasp, remembering our conversation. "Tom?!" I ask, my brother's name coming to me. Tom smiles, nodding.
"I found you, Cassie." He says happily, sitting back in his seat. Joakim looks really confused.
"My brother. Red hair, short, plays guitar, sings, loves video games." I say, looking at Tom. Joakim surprises me, and Tom, by nodding.
"Lewis and I had our suspicions, but we didn't want to say anything. That's the real reason we ended the call when Sparkles* walked in." Joakim explains. Tom looks up, confused.
"So that's what Lewis was doing. He looked really nervous when I walked in." Tom laughs. I stand and walk over to him, putting my hand on his back. Joakim sees what I'm doing and smiles. Tom also seems to understand, he lifts the back of his shirt enough for me to see the jagged scar running down his back.
"You protected me from the glass. You saved my life." I say, hugging Tom tightly. He frowns, pushing my hair out of my eye again.
"I saved you, but I didn't protect you well enough, because you still got this." He says, his finger running along the scar above my eye. Joakim is pretty unsurprised by my eye, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.
"Andi, I already knew about your eye, I saw it a few days ago. I figured you had it hidden for a reason, so I never questioned you about it." Joakim explains. I look back at Tom and smile. I can't believe my brother was my favorite singer this entire time! How cliche.
"Why'd you switch to Andi?" Tom asks, looking at me curiously. I shrug, blushing a bit.
"I guess I just wanted to forget. Cassie seemed kinda childish and Cassandra is too long. Andi was just right, so I went with it." I explain, and Joakim raises an eyebrow.
"Cassandra? Sparkles*, your secret band member is named after your sister?" He asks, and I finally make the connection. Wow, I can be very stupid sometimes. Tom nods, and I hug him again.
"I can't believe I never figured that out!" I exclaim, a bit annoyed with myself. "Sometimes I swear that I'm really stupid. Wait, what do we do about this?" I ask, realizing something. "Tom is my brother and Joakim is my adoptd dad, so who do I stay with?" I ask, ignoring the looks Joakim and Tom give each other when they hear the other person's real name.
"I guess it's up to you." Tom says, smiling. I groan, flopping on the couch behind me.
"I'm absolutely horrid at making decisions! I have rainbow tips because I couldn't decide what color I wanted! There's no way I'll be able to make this decision! I'd say both of you, but Joakim lives a bit far away for that." I groan again, squeezing my eyes shut in frustration.
"Don't hurt yourself, sis." Tom says, chuckling. "You have the next three days to decide." I hear footsteps, then a door shutting. I think both Joakim and Tom left the room, but I'm not sure. I don't bother opening my eyes to check, though, because I'm to lazy to do that. Instead I think about who to live with until I fall asleep.
Tell me in the comments who you think Andi should live with! Joakim/Rythian or Tom/Sparkles*? Also, any ideas on how to make living arrangements work? I hate writer's block... Until next time, Seeya!
