There's no one that feels the pain more than I.
You may see my smile, but you don't see me cry.
Behind this mask, I'm not so sturdy.
I come from a past that's full of drama and it's rather dirty.
I've tried to run away.
I've tried to be better.
I've lived my life trying to be the go-getter.
I'm not so secretive, I just don't want to get burned.
I've been through that too many times before.
I can only hope that this time the pain is overturned.
So take another look and tell me what you see
Cause when I look in my reflection,
all I see is a lost, little girl
staring back at me.
