Back on the helicarrier, everything seemed pretty calm. I had the job of meeting the avengers and showing the around. I stood on the boarding dock, waiting for the jet to arrive.

"Agent Garabrandt?"

I looked behind me to see a woman in jeans and a shirt with a jacket. She has fiery red, curly hat that came down to her shoulders. Natasha Romanoff. We trained together and have been best friends ever since.

"Nat!" I yelled and ran to her, giving her a hug. I haven't seen her in years. She's always been on missions with Clint Barton.

"Long time no see, flame!" She said. that was her nickname for me because of my powers. Her, Fury, and Coulson were the only one who knew about my powers. I could manipulate fire, read minds, and I had enhanced strength and senses.

Just then, two jets landed on the dock. The door to the first one opened. Out stepped a man with blonde hair and breathtaking blue eyes. He was really tall and muscular. He wore a white v-neck and jeans with a brown leather jacket. I found myself just staring at him. He looked at me and smiled. I quickly looked away to the next person to step off the jet.

He had brown, slightly grating hair. He wore glasses. He had a purple button down shirt on with a tan jacket over it. He must be the famous Bruce Banner.

"Dr. Banner? Hi, I'm Stephanie Garabrandt. I'll be showing you around the helicarrier." I said politely.

"Great." He replied.

"I'm Steve Rogers. Nice to meet you Stephanie." The blonde haired man said. We shook hands.

"Might wanna head inside soon guys, it might get a little hard to breathe." I said. As we were going to lift off any moment now.

"Is this a submarine?" Steve asked as the rotors started spinning.

"They really want me in a submerged pressurised container?" Bruce asked. That's when I remembered reading his file. He was the Hulk. I made a mental note never to get this guy angry.

Then the helicarrier started to lift off the water.

"Oh no, this is much worse." Bruce said. I couldn't help but smile at his comment.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

After the tour, we went to the bridge. Nick had requested to see us there.

"Gentleman," he said, seeing Banner and Rogers in the room. Captain Rogers walked over to Fury and handed him a ten dollar bill. I wonder what that was for. They must have made a bet.

"We have a hit, 67%" one agent said for the room to hear.

"No wait, cross-match, 79%"

"Location?" I asked.

"Stuttgart, Germany."

"Cap, you're up." Fury said to Steve.

Steve nodded and ran to get his suit.

"He'll be alright, right?" I asked Natasha.

"He'll be fine, why? Do you like him?" She said smartly. I thought about it. Did I like him? I always felt safe when I was around him. I hones sly didn't know what I felt for him.

"I don't know, but I'm coming with you." I replied.

"Fine with me, suit up, Steph." She replied. I ran to get my suit.

My suit was a cat suit, like Natasha's, but mine was a light grey. I slipped it in and ran to the loading dock and hopped on the jet. Steve and I rode in an awkward silence, not saying anything in fear of saying the wrong thing.

"Cap, you ready?" Natasha asked, breaking the silence.

"As ready as I'll ever be." Steve replied.

With that, he jumped out of the jet. I followed behind him.

When we landed, I saw a crowd of people kneeling before a man with golden horns. Loki. he was tall, thin, and pale. He had hair the darkest shade of black I had ever seen. it came down his neck and flipped out by his shoulders. He was a good looking man, I will admit. I started kneeling with the others, trying to stay hidden.

"Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? This is the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. in the end, you will always kneel." Loki spoke. God, he's annoying, I thought.

An elderly man stood up from kneeling.

"Not to men like you." he spoke

"There are no men like me." Loki retorted.

"There are always men like you" the man challenged.

"Look to your elder people," Loki said, raising his sceptre. "Let him be an example." Loki pointed his sceptre at the man, ready to shoot.

A flash of red and blue came and there was Captain America shielding the man from the blast.

"You know, the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everyone else, we ended up disagreeing." Steve said, referring to the war he fought in, WWII.

"Well, if it isn't the soldier, the man out of time." Loki said, smirking.

"I'm not the one who's out of time." Cap retorted. They started fighting.

I started rushing around, trying to evacuate everyone from the area. I carried a few children and injured out of harm's way. Once everyone was out, I started to fight. I saw Cap being forced to kneel by Loki's sceptre.

"KNEEL!" Loki yelled.

"Not today," I said, kicking Loki in his face.

Then I heard music 'Shoot To Thrill' by AC/DC. Tony.

A flash of red and gold flew by be and knocked Loki to the ground. I clenched my fists, ready to fight. Tony pointed his repulser lasers and many other weapons he had on his suit at Loki.

"Make your move, reindeer games." Tony told Loki. He raised his hands and switched back to his suit he was wearing to begin with.

"Good move" I added.
