"Isn't it strange, how one little decission can change somebody their life? How one small decission opens another door, another path in life. This is why I am telling all of you to not make decissions that easily. Always think every single step through, cause you never know what is on the other side of the door that you are opening"

I wish I thought of that before. Hello, my name is .. was.. is Gwendolyn but I rather have that you call me Gwen. You know it is really strange to introduce myself like this. I would give you a hand but that would a bit hard... since well I can't really touch anything anymore. I have become 20 years old. 20 years old. Not a day longer. That is right. I died on my birthday. I am tagging you along in my life story. Why? Cause I want you to know what not to do. What choices not to make. To reflect on your life and think about how lucky you are. Yes, your life can be shit. It can be dark, it can be horrible. But in the end... you are the one who decides what to do in your life. To run away from all the shit, to prove the world that you can become so much more... to go on weird trips, to scream your lovers name from the roof tops. To... simply life. I come from a normal family. Normal dad, normal mom, normal sister. Just your normal family. I really can't say they made my life hard. I don't really have a sad backstory. I am the living proof that even without a sad back story, that even with the right family that would give you million of changes to take on the right decission... you still could choose the wrong one. Please when you read all of the story, don't look at me as one of those tipical stupid girls. I know that what I did was stupid. It might have been the most stupid decission of my life. But at the end of the day. I did what it took to clear my families name.

"Gwendolyn!! Gwendolyn!" the hard knock on the door woke her up. "What do you want mom?" Gwen her voice replied, annoyed by the way she was just awakened. "The police are here for you" she stated. A frown would form on Gwens face as she slowly got up, opening her door and unlocking it. "What?" she said. Her faceiall expression was rather confused. What would the police do on her door? Yes Gwen has been in trouble before for things as stealing, underaged drinking but she didn't do anything for over a year. "And I thought you were really changed" she could hear her mother say. Gwen had opened her mouth to talk back to her mother, but then again.. could she really blame her? Walking down the stairs she saw the cops sitting at the diner table. Why was it Always he dinner table? It was littarly the sight you would see in those movies on tv. Walking toward the kitchen to get a glass of water she nodded. "What can I do for you 2?" she said as she took a zip from her water. "Megan McCaine is dead." Gwendolyn nodded slowly. "What about it?" she spoke without any emotion really. It was not like she cared about that girl. "Gwendolyn your manners!" her mom tried to scream some sense into her right away. "What?" Gwen said, giving her mother a glare. "It is not like I care about the girl who tried to flush me down the Toilet, last week" she said, looking at the cops. "I meant that littarly... you ever had a toilet shower, I really don't recommand that". One of the cops nodded. "That is why we are here... we heard many people on campus speak about the fact that you and Megan really didn't get along" the officer spoke. "So?" this all was making Gwendolyn rather confused. "Where were you on Friday evening at 19:00?" her mouth dropped. Gwen might not be the smartest person in the room, but she knew damn well what they were asking her. They were asking her if she killed her, atleast they indirectetly asked. "I never knew she was murdered" she said first. "But on the other hand, knowing how many toilet showers she daily gave other people.. I can't really blame the one who snapped and.. " She holded up her hand already, knowing that her mom would start screaming at her again. "To answer your question. I was walking back home from my jogging round" she explained. "You were walking back from your jogging round?" the female officer asked confused. "Listen I never said I was good at jogging alright? Whole point is, I was out trying to become more fit" Gwendolyn sat down as she spoke to the officers.

It had taken a good 45 minutes before the officers left. Gwendolyn could already tell that this would not be the first time they would be seeing each other. "Gwendolyn... I would prefer that you would speak up right now if you know something about this". her mother spoke. Gwendolyn raised her eyebrow. "You really think I have something to do with this?  she said, laying her feet on the table. "I don't!" she could hear her little sister yelling from the living room. "She is to lazy to actually kill someone" Gwendolyn laughed and nodded. "You see mom, that is the support I need in life." she said while getting up. "And If you don't mind... I don't feel like explaining myself to my own mother as well"
