chapter one

bella's pov

i was staring at my computer screen waiting for an email from the duffer brothers.

a few weeks ago i auditioned for stranger things season 3 as steve's younger sister, charolette.

i was supposed to find out if i got in today and to be honest i felt pretty good about my audition.

suddenly a notification that was from the duffer brothers popped up onto my laptop screen.

i jumped and started to freak out. i calmed down after a minute and opened the email;

hi bella!

the stranger things staff would like to congratulate you on getting casted as charlotte. we thought your audition tape was absolutely amazing and you have tons of talent. text me (matt duffer) at ###-###-#### for further details about your flight.
please email back within the next 24 hours or we will go to the next girl in line.

i just sat there staring at my laptop with my mouth wide open.

i got the part. i got the freaking part! i'm going to be on stranger things.

"mom come here now!" i shouted, not taking my eyes off my laptop.

she came into my room out of breath, "are you okay?"

i looked at her and handed her my laptop, "no not at all."

i watched as she read it and when she was done reading it she screamed.

my mom was like a best friend i've never had; at school i always get made fun of and picked on and i don't even know why. i guess it's just because i'm different from everyone else, i don't care about the drama and who's with who.

she hugged me, "i'm so so proud of you bell."

i smiled, "i love you so much mom."

"love you more," she looked back at my laptop, "well let's email them back!"

hi matt!

thank you so much for letting me become apart of this amazing show! i would love to play as charlotte in the upcoming season. i'm going to text you after i send this email.

i sighed and laid down on my bed. once the season comes out i would have a whole new life where people actually like me.

i shook off the thoughts and grabbed my phone to text matt.

bella: hey is this matt? it's bella montgomery.

matt: yes hello. so i wanted to text you about the details because it's easier than emailing.

bella: aha understandable.

matt: okay so the younger cast is currently staying at their own house and will stay there when we're filming. you can either fly out to atlanta the day before we start filming or two weeks before we start filming to bond with the cast.

bella: hm ill go out two weeks earlier.

matt: sounds good! the stranger things staff will be paying for your flight which is in two days.

bella: okay! thank you again for this amazing opportunity!

matt: you really do deserve it bella.

i smiled. i've been such a huge stranger things fan since it first ever came out. i've fallen in love with the characters and to think i'm going to be one of those characters makes me happy.

i jumped off my bed and started packing thinking of a scenario for each outfit.

noah's pov

the duffers just announced to us that the girl playing charlotte in the new season of stranger things will be coming to the house in two days.

they wouldn't tell us anything about her though, not even her name. millie begged and begged but the duffers still refused to tell us.

i couldn't keep my mind off this mystery girl; is she pretty? will she like me? is she nice? is she a bitch? will she get along with us?

i sighed and finn looked at me, "what's wrong schnapp?"

"just thinking about the new girl," i said quietly.

finn laughed and whispered, "hopefully she's cute."

i smiled at him and hit his shoulder, "shhh"
