Chapter 35

A FEW WEEKS LATER

Andrew's POV

I stand in the lobby of the hotel we were all staying in this week for the convention waiting on all the cast members to get here I see Norman walk in and I knew Jeff and Skylar wouldn't be far behind him the three of them did everything together. He walks over then we hug I look at him "Where's Jeff and Skylar?" he turns and looks behind him "guess they got ambushed by fans I'm sure they will be inside soon." I nod then we stand and talk for a while catching up over the last few months the hotel doors open and Jeff walks in with Skylar holding hands. They walk over I hug Skylar and pat Jeff on the back I look at the two of them "how's the big bad married couple?" He grins then wraps an arm around her waist "We're happy and we're enjoying it a lot." I shake my head then we all go up to the floor with our rooms.

Skylar's POV

I walk out on the balcony of our hotel and look out at the view it was beautiful here in San Jose there was a lot to do up here hopefully in between the sightseeing Jeff and I could go out for a little while r I could hang out with Norman for a little bit it would be nice to just talk. I feel Jeff wrap his arms around my waist I smile then lean back against him he kisses down the side of my neck I look up at him and he kisses me softly I kiss back then pull away, He starts rubbing my sides then lays his head on my shoulder I relax then he breaks the silence "maybe we could try here?" I watch his hand move to my stomach I nod and rub his hand then start biting my lip. I really needed to talk to Norman about everything going on.

Norman's POV

I walk out of the coffee shop then Skylar and I start walking down the street I look over at her and she slides her hands in her packets. We walk to a park then sit down on a bench I look over at her "What's going on Sky I can tell there's something different." She takes a deep breath then runs her hands through her hair she looks up at the sky then looks over at me. "I'm worried Norm Jeff wants a baby so bad we've been trying since the honeymoon and that was almost six months ago I love him but I'm afraid he's going to stop loving me if nothing happens soon." I didn't realize this was going on between them. "Don't rush that you have to let that happen on its own I'm a parent Mingus wasn't planned" She nods slowly Jeff was my friend but it wasn't fair to put this much pressure on Skylar. I would talk to him about it.

Jeff's POV

I stand outside the convention center with Norman while we smoke before we go inside to get started with our panel I look at Skylar sitting a few feet away from us I take a deep breath then sigh. Norman looks at me "She told me that the two of you were trying for a baby?" I nod slowly "Since the honeymoon but nothing has happened I'm ready to be a father." He nods then reaches over and squeezes my shoulder. "You can't rush this it will happen when it's right you're both healthy putting pressure on the two of you won't get her pregnant any faster." Norman was right we couldn't force it. "I guess your right thanks for the talk." He nods "See you and Skylar when you make your entrance." I laugh and nod. Norman walks inside and I sigh then rub my face.
