John Macdonald was relaxing on the plane, watching the new love tragedy and wondering whether he could watch this with his fiancée, Isabelle. He was on the verge of tears as the emotion the movie brought tried to overwhelm him. His thoughts where interrupted when he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. Annoyance flashed on his face as his thoughts were interrupted and he turned to see who had intruded them.
But when he saw it was his best friend and MI5 partner, Bruce Davidson. All negative feelings were gone as he spoke to his friend.
''If this is about our mission then don't worry. We will be undercover for a small amount of time until we can get him to prison.'' John said kindly.
''Just it's the sheer influence he has over Russia, it's unbelievable!'' Bruce replied.
''Don't worry we have the whole of MI5 covering our backs.'' John reassured him.
''He has the whole of Russia covering his back.''
John was about to reply but then the plane shuddered. John quickly pulled down the little screen in front of him which showed their altitude. Suddenly the plane dropped!
Everything flew to the ceiling as if gravity had stopped working. Wine glasses, plastic cups, laptops and even people flew around the plane.
''Brace! Brace! Brace!'' The pilot on the overhead speaker shouted desperately. John had just got into the brace position when the plane hit the water. The metal buckled under the impact but continued to stay in one piece. He smashed the window and looked over at Bruce. His best friend had a wine glass smash on his head. His blood was dripping down his face and onto his seat and he was unconscious. John pulled his friend out of the wreckage of the plane and swam to an island 200 metres away. As soon as he reached the beach he collapsed just as a man with war paint on his face stood over him and his thoughts were swallowed by the blackness.
