Moving house was good. I wasn't going to lie, leaving the old place was hard, since I had spent my whole married life there and had three kids in that time . Truth is ,I needed a change of scenery. I found a great job that paid well so did Chris. Plus great schools for the kids: joey, phoebe and Charlie. Honestly when we started to move things into the moving van I was surprised at the amount of junk we had. That's the good thing about having close family because will one phone call my great parents, various other family members such as my sister and brother , and my friends where all there to help. We had been in the car for around 4 hours now and we had already stopped for a few toilet brakes and a Mac Donald's drive through. The kids where all asleep, so was Chris with dripping pooling down his stubbly chin. I loved Chris we had been married for ten whole years now and I love him the same after all this time. I thought that was great because with after only five years my mum and dad had divorced. It was for the best I guess but it's always hard for a child to loose a parents , I'm just glad I had my sister there for me as I'm the middle child. jace is the youngest lucky for him he can't remember the arguments and crying!
An hour later ...
I woke the kids as I pulled up to the big black and gold encrusted gate. They marvelled in wonder as we went up the driveway. " what a scene" Chris said.
We all ran up the front steps of the house to the front door . Chris unlocked it and the kids bundled in , it was raining. The kids rushed upstairs to argue over the rooms. While me and Chris unpacked the shopping for tomorrow's meals. We turned on a few lamps, incase one of the kids ventured for a glass of water in the night, downstairs. Then we joined the kids as we could hear it getting nasty up there . Charlie was unpacking her rucksack full of baby Annabelle outfits, Annabelle herself, cuddly toys and clothes for herself. Charlie such a beautiful name I thought, though Chris's mother disagreed and said it was just a boys name ! She had requested it to be Elena after her great great great grandmother. That was out of the question. " this is my room !" Said joey the eldest only son. " just because your the eldest doesn't mean you get everything you want joe !" Screamed phoebe the middle child gothic yet insecure.
" hey, hey, hey you two stop it your both tired okay joey you take this room your the lad you don't need a walking wardrobe! Phoebe take the other." Chris stepped in whilst I tucked my baby girl into her sleeping bag, the moving van came tomorrow. After a few huffs and puffs the kids where in bed. Finally ... some peace !
Me and Chris jumped into bed after a long day Chris soon nodded off.
Chris had bought me this house as a birthday present last year it was great . Complete with pool, games room, ten room , Severn bathrooms and more to discover ...
