Serendipity

So, I figured before producing a fanfiction based on YoonMin, I would do some "research" before proceeding and getting ahead of myself. First of all, it will probably just be an analysis and background checks and such, then probably into more detail of the theories and then develop into connotations and deeper, supposed hidden meanings implied. Also, if there is one thing that I've learnt in English this year, it's that sometimes the answer isn't obvious, and sometimes you have to analyse the most random and bizarre things for your point to make sense.
Please keep in mind that I will be using evidence and ideas that aren't always of my own.

Right so, let's take the music video Serendipity, for example. (This is quite a popular music video analysis for YoonMin shippers). Now, like "Love Love Jello" suggests in one of their YouTube videos, the music video depicts the concept and practice of iconography to imply both binary codes (opposites) and the potential relationship between Yoongi and Jimin. Some people believe that the love between these two is either unrequited or maybe their relationship isn't even that of , so called, "boyfriend" material.
Background information in the music video itself is that it clearly presents the  idea of the sun and moon. We can all assume that Yoongi is portrayed as the moon when we think of his emotional state and how he reacts to certain events, and we can all assume Jimin is further portrayed as the sun because of his bright attitude to everything and his outlook on life. This is shown when the main, vibrant colours are yellows and otherwise darker colours and shades like black, which give the idea of the moon.
The colour yellow that appears quite often pays a significant importance because Jimin has quoted in an interview that "it represents our relationship".

Jimin could be repeatedly using this colour to remind Yoongi of their relationship and perhaps even refresh his own memory

Jimin could be repeatedly using this colour to remind Yoongi of their relationship and perhaps even refresh his own memory. On the Love Yourself posters, Yoongi's has a phrase on it which roughly translates to "do not come close, it will result in unhappiness", possibly meaning he wants Jimin to refrain himself from coming close possibly because he is afraid that he may may harm him, which might reflect Yoongi's real life struggles. This almost makes sense because Jimin also repeatedly uses the words "just let me love you" throughout the music video, meaning he is trying to assure Yoongi that it is okay and that he just wants to show his affection for him. From this, we can summarise that Yoongi is purposely putting himself in a distant position to protect Jimin, and Jimin seeks love and attention from him, and doesn't receive it because of this.

Although this was completely composed by Namjoon, there are some lyrics in the song which relate to YoonMin moments, which again, almost makes sense, because at certain moments, Namjoon has been suggested to ship it.

One of these moments, like suggested in the video, was when Jimin called Yoongi "blue mold" which is also stated in the music video. Another moment is this, although it may seem far-fetched:

Throughout the music video, Jimin also refers himself to some stereotypical feminine things. For example, when he sings "I became your flower" which is not something a male would stereotypically say, yet a woman would say. There is also the fact that he calls himself a "calico cat" and there is a study which suggests that only one out of every 3,000 calico cats is male. Jimin is suggesting a feminine outtake because as stated, it is rare to find a male calico cat.

That's pretty much all I have to say for now, if anyone has any other theories or anything else to add or argue/negotiate, please bring such things up in the comments
