"Mom! Close the curtains!" you said as you pull the pillow that was resting underneath your head over your face shielding you from the light.

"Y/N, you have to get up. You have to get ready for school." she responds as she leaves your room. You sluggishly roll out of bed and go to the bathroom and start getting ready.

Today was Monday, your least favorite day of the week. You brush your teeth, and comb your hair then go to your room and get dressed. You put on a baggy white sweatshirt, white wash jeans and dark blue converse. You go downstairs to where you find pancakes and bacon that your mother had made.

Underneath the plate you find a note that read, 'I can't take you to school today because they called me into work a little earlier but Jessica's mom said she can come by and pick you up. Be ready by 8:15am. See you later, Y/N. Love you'

Jessica is your best friend. She has been ever since freshmen year of high school. Now your in senior year so that's about four years of friendship. It doesn't seem like a long time but you and Jessica are inseparable. You finish eating and sit on the couch waiting until you get a text from Jessica saying that she's outside your house. You get up from your couch, grab your book bag and go outside. Outside you see Jessica and her mom in their red minivan. You hop inside the back seat.

"Good Morning Mrs. Choi. Hey Jess." you say as you buckle in your seat belt.

"Good Morning Y/N." Mrs. Choi responda as she pulls out from her spot in front of your house.

You guys get to school in about three minutes. Your school is actually a very short distance away from your house but your mom doesn't want you to walk since it is cold. Mrs. Choi drops you and Jessica off at the front of the school.
