Beep beep be- I press the alarm clock to stop it's annoying beeping, I sat up and stretch my body to wake up a little. I went to the kitchen to make a simple breakfast for my liking. People say breakfast is the important meal of the day, I agree only I eat light and simple meals in the morning because I simply don't eat much.
After I ate, I watch whatever on the morning shows about what amazing thing this actor or actress had done this year. Seriously they act like she broke a taboo by not wearing makeup, everyone does it eventually. I heard a knock on my door "Coming!" I shouted, I opened the door to see my long time friend of me and my brother's. "Sophia, what brings you here?" I let her in.
"The boss want you to meet the countries." I look up at her with a raised eyebrow "Why would I do that?" I ask her "That way we'll have better allies and trade for our people." I bit my lip and responded "You're right, I think it's time to get out my shell for the people" she nodded an approval at my cooperation in this. "We leave tomorrow at 3 am." "Wait! why didn't you just call me about this?" I ask before she left. She smirked at me "Knowing you, probably going to go on 'vacation' before I am able to track you down. Better to capture the prey first than to let it wonder near you and lose sight of it." With that she left.
I chuckle at her humorous description of me when I have my resources to run from something and come back once the coast is clear. I check the clock almost 11 few moments of freedom that I can enjoy.
