Your walking back from the store when you hear someone call out to you. You turn around, your bags of food clatter together. You look at the person with a pissed look. "What, mint boy?" You ask clearly annoyed
"I wanted to know if you were ok". Your pissed off expression explained some of the emotions you felt against the man who saved your life. Why were you so angry at him? He did save you from getting hit by a truck. Shouldn't you thank him? Your thoughts were spinning through your head. You snapped out of it and quickly came back to reality. "I-" You paused thinking of what you were going to say "I'm going to go.." You speed walk back the abandoned place you called your home. You took the key out of your pocket and slowly unlocked the run down white door
You open the door to a small fire in the kitchen. In a hurry, you run to the living room and grab the kitten and the box quickly sprinting out of the house which quickly erupted into a flame of memories flooding your scenes
Your heart ached as you watched your home burn to ashes.
Your sobs we're quiet as you stroked the kitten and walked away from the scene.
