Chapter 3

My phone rang abruptly after I left Starbucks. I put my Bluetooth on and answered the call. Macy, my sister was on the phone with my eldest brother, Linken. “Hey Baby sis! We miss You! How you doing?” They both said in unison. “Hey Mace, Hey Link! I miss you guys too! Me? I’m fine, just bumped into Blake a few minutes ago. He kinda um saw my model look.” “The Model look? You mean the VS sweats? What did he say? Do I have to beat the living daylights out of him?” “Link, Calm the crap down! He just asked if I was really me but he let it go. Stop bitching out.” I slightly scolded him. “You know we get over protective when it comes to our baby sister.” Link said. “Yeah yeah whatever. I gotta go, bye Link, Bye Mace. I LOVE YOU BOTH!” “Bye! We Love You Too! Muwah!” I arrived home shortly and parked my car underground. I got in, ate dinner and went to bed.

                The Next morning was a surprise. My twin, Ryan was home. At our age of 18, he starts training more often with dad and Link for when he starts working there. He finished school earlier with him being a brainiac like me but I choose not to go ahead of my batch. We will go to college at the same time though. He’s planning on going to UCLA which is just a few hours away from our humble abode. I on the other hand would be going to Harvard or Julliard.

“hey baby sis! Missed you!” he said while giving me a tight bear hug. “HEEEEY! Only by a minute! And of course I missed you too.” “Come on Annie! Eat up. I’m bringing you to school.” “WHAT? Why?” “Because I want to, now dress up without those fake nerd glasses and come down to eat!” “Ugh fine.” Kill me now! My brother just had to do this.

After I dressed up to a black tank top, a purple crop top and a pair of white shorts with my purple and black chucks, I grabbed my bag and headed down to eat my breakfast which my mom happily cooked. When I got to the kitchen I saw my mom(Emma Jane Walker), my dad(Nathan James Walker) and Ryan chatting the day away while eating. I took my seat which was beside Ryan and ate my breakfast. One thing I loved about my family was that even if my parents were always busy, the usually made time with us as much as possible. As I ate my breakfast, I can’t seem to forget how Blake made my heart skip a beat. That honestly was beyond me. I finished eating and bid my parents goodbye hugs and kisses.

Ryan and I got in his car which was a Zonda Cinque Roadster 2012 edition. I can never understand how Link, Dad and Ryan flaunts such cars. They were like their babies. After an internal battle with myself, we headed to school. After a few minutes of silence, Ryan spoke up. “Annie, I need to tell you something.” “That is what Ryan?” “I Um..” “Spit it out Ryan Alexander Walker!” “I have a girlfriend.” He immediately spat out. OMG! He has a GIRLFRIEND! I got a goofy grin on my face and I spoke up, “Ryan I’m so happy for you! What’s her name?” “Her name’s Aly. She’s a year younger than us but she’s amazing and she’s very beautiful.”  “I can’t wait to meet her already!” “You will, tonight.”

We arrived at shortly after he told me about Aly. I hugged my brother goodbye and got out of his car. When I did, all I could feel were stares. Probably wondering why I came out of a car worth 2 billion. Lacy’s clique started walking towards me with her 2nd in command Bern behind her. I was near my locker when someone grabbed my shoulders and slammed me to one of the lockers. I looked up to see Lacy staring at me with bitterness in her eyes. “What do you want Lacy?” I asked. “You bitch! You’re such a gold digger to get a guy who drives a Zonda!” “I’m nowhere near of what you accuse me of.” “Yeah, Whatever NERD!” “That’s your opinion.” “At least I’m much more beautiful than you and I got a photo shoot with Vera Wang yesterday.” She said proudly of the lie she just told. I just had to laugh at that one. “Oh really now? Well Why don’t we all look at the new issue then?” I got the magazine from my bag showed everyone that I was the one in the magazine. “Everybody, do you see Lacy in any of these photos? No, cause I was the one in them.” I heard gasps around us. “You’re such a fame whore!” Bern, Lacy’s minion said. “Really? Last time I checked, I never took fame away from you.” Just then Blake came out of nowhere and asked what was going on. “What the hell is going on? Why are you shouting at my girlfriend?” He questioned me. “I’m just trying to show your girlfriend what a liar she is.” “Yeah well at least she has money.” “I don’t need money when my parents love me for who I am.”

I walked away not wanting to have anymore shouting. But then I saw dad’s assistant, Zander walking up to me. “Hey Ann! You’re mom told me to tell you that you will be going to NYC in 2 days for a week to handle the Fashion week. She also told me that Chloe, your assistant will also be there.” “Thank you Zander. You may go now.”
