The next day was like any other Thursday. I went to school, survived Mrs Wright's dull English lesson then got sent to the Principal's office for the first time this week, by grumpy Mr Livvens in Geography. Gina is going to be SO proud, normally she would have had two phone calls home by now. Well what can I say? Mr Livvens hates me... well that and the fact I enjoy winding him up. You can almost imagine fireworks exploding out of his ears when he is mad. His shiny, bald head turns bright red every time I walk into his lesson because he knows I'm 'trouble' though he wouldn't have had any problems with me if he chose a better subject to teach, that and the fact a certain crazy best friend just so happens to share the class with me.

I also happen to share the class with a certain Twyla Jenkins, she is your stereotypical head-cheerleader, straight, long, blonde hair, charming blue eyes and a evil  personality to match. Generally I avoid that type of person however seen as she is attracted to my boyfriend like a fly is attracted to leftover food I have kinda try and push her away, which by the way is extremely difficult as Scott sees no reason not to let her hang around us. Slowly but surely she is worming her way into Scott's heart. He calls me jealous when we argue over her, then forces me to let her come with us when we go on dates just to prove that I don't care. When in reality I hate her because she is managing to steal the second person who can truly make me happy. The first being Bria.

After school, I said my goodbyes to Bria before getting into my D Class Mono Car and ordering it to follow Scott to his house. Scott's house is on the 93rd floor of very tall apartment building, I think in total it has about 290 floors. The outside of the building was coloured the same way as mine. Though once inside it was very different, unlike mine this one looked as if no one lived there, everywhere was spotless and clean, it was equipped with every gadget known to man. Scott's younger brother sat on a large futon couch with Scott's older brother playing some war game on their . "Heya cutie" Scott's older brother, Alex, called without even looking at me. "What's a beauty like you doing here, if your up for a good time ditch my weirdo of a brother and call me" I rolled my eyes. It was like this every single time, he would try and get me into his bed. He always failed.

"Sorry hun but your brother can show me a much better time than you can ever hope" I teased causing Alex to fake a look of hurt. Oliver, Scott's younger brother laughed.

"Al ,Leave her alone" Scott complained while laughing at his brother's failed attempt.

"Hello hun... oh I see you have company" Scott's mum said, turning to me with a sneer on her make up covered face. His mum seemed to hate me for some weird reason, yet his dad seemed to love me, unfortunately he worked late almost every night so I rarely see him. " Dinner will be ready in 15" she said icily before leaving the room. Suddenly she reappeared saying "Oh, I invited some company around tonight". Swiftly she disappeared again.

"Don't worry about her Hope" Al said trying to comfort me.

"I'm fine" I said brushing his hand off "I just don't understand why she hates me" The boys restarted their match completely oblivious to me and Scott. We just sat and talked before the doorbell rang and we were joined by a head-cheerleader with straight, long, blonde hair and charming blue eyes.

"Heya guys... Oh hey Hope, fancy seeing you here" Twyla giggled. At that moment my hatred for her doubled. Her and her stupid flirty ways, the idiotic way she twirled her hair around in her fingers, the way she winked at Scott. I wanted to rip her stupid false hair extensions out,  I wanted her to plead for her life... calm Hopie, calm, don't over react. What did that son of a pineapple think she was doing at my boyfriend's house. MINE!. It was Scott's mum who invited her, but still... Luckily she was saved by Scott's mum who called us for dinner.

Dinner was awkward, partly due to the fact I still wanted to kill Twyla. Scott's mum just ignored me while the boys started taking about some game, Twyla joined in pretending to know what she was talking about. Seeing her talking to Scott filled my heart with emptiness. I knew then and there I had lost Scott, my wonderful ,caring boyfriend to a evil, popular head-cheerleader. I felt alone and for some reason it scared me. The food was a grey mush on the plate and smelled oddly like GM brussels. I wouldn't put it past Scott's mum, she knows I hate brussels. I forced it down my throat quickly followed by a large gulp of water. Scott's mum smirked at me.

"So... Hope, have you heard?" Twyla smiled sweetly at me. "Apparently your friend, whats her face, is pregnant"

"Really Hope, one of your friends?" Scott's mum said looking at me in disgust.

"Yeah, I think her name is Bria, or something" Twyla giggled "yeah apparently, it was a one night stand" I stood up abruptly glaring at her, warning her to continue. The feeling of hatred returned and I wanted to open that head of her's to see if she had a brain at all.

"STOP dissing my friend. You know nothing you stupid cow! I wish you would just leave me alone and stop trying to ruin my life. I swear, if you don't I can make your life living hell!" I scream at the terrified girl.

"Hope! That's enough" Scott said firmly

I rounded on him "Your defending her? I thought Bria was your friend! I can't believe you Scott, Your nothing to me anymore, IT'S OVER!!!... I hate you. I hate you all!" I rushed out feeling the tears fall. As I stormed out I heard his mother tell him "And that's what you get for dating someone from THAT family" I so badly wanted to go back in there and rip her head off her shoulders, instead I just left. The worst thing is that Scott didn't defend me, he didn't follow me, he didn't care. I rushed to my car, instead of commanding it to take me home, I wanted to drive manually. I found that it helps calm me.

The tears flowed impairing my vision. I didn't see the corner. I didn't turn. I smashed into a metal wall. The impact too hard, so the car's safety features couldn't save me. I let the darkness consume me...
