It was an ordinary day for me, for us. Because we were always arguing to pick a place. I said a place because mountains were like caffees or bars for us. Jack was talking about Nanga Parbat. It was not a good choice, because Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest mountain in the world. Its summit is 8,126 metres above sea level. The mountain is situated in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. It resides at the westernmost point of the Himalayas and is also the furthest west of all the world's eight thousand metre peaks. We wanted to climb a higher mountain, not 9th. Maybe it was 3rd or 4th but not 9th.Because 9th wasn't a good record. Jack was very determined. But Ernest and Amy didn't want to go there. They were ready to debate with Jack. Ernest was very quiet that nigth. This was not a usual thing because he was the most chattering person in our team but that night he was so silent. This was frightned me because Ernest was very self-conscious and smarty-pants. When everyone had to say something about our climbing area, he didn't say anything. Whereas he was always has words to all our meeting. Amy and I did the worst thing to do. We wanted to go Mountain Lhotse. This decision would be our paralysis.
