"No, that's not happening at all. Go upstairs and change." My older brother demanded as I walked down the stairs.

"Why? I thought I looked good." I told Jace, facing the mirror in the living room. The outfit I had chosen to wear, is the same one I wore the night before my brother and sister-in-law's wedding last month. The rosy red dress I am wearing is a skater styled one, which is held in place with straps that are found on my shoulders. Also to match with my dress, I picked out a black clutch that had all the items I would need tonight in and a pair of 4 inch, black platform heels. I usually don't wear heels, as they can get uncomfortable after a while but as its rare I go out I thought why not? I knew choosing to wear this outfit was quite daring, as it showed abit of skin but honestly I love this this dress and also I brought it with my own money, so I am going to wear it more than once.

"It's just I can see your legs and your arms, and I don't want guys to see that." Jace explained looking at me straight in the eye. I hate it when he gets all serious, because all I wanna do is laugh and I really shouldn't.

"Jace, stop being overprotective, I wear less at the beach." I exclaimed flattening down my dress that was slowing rising up.

"But that's when I am there to protect you from the dangers." He stated, starting to get pissed off. Oh Great!

"Stop acting as if your my hero, I don't need protecting and anyway I will be with Mason." I
Announced pulling him up from the leather sofa, wrapping my arms around his waist, with which he responded with putting his on top of shoulders.

"Who the fuck is Mason?" Jace asked, raising his left eyebrow, looking down at me, waiting for my answer.

"You ask this every time I mention him. He's the bestfriend that swings the other way, if you get what I mean." I admitted pulling away from his hug , getting my phone out of my clutch, to check the time. 7:59PM. One minute left until he should be here.

"Okay, good. Don't want my baby sister to get knocked up at 17, do we?" Jace teased, rubbing his hand through my hair, trying to mess it up. Thank goodness for hair spray.

"You take things too far." I responded before I heard the beeping of a car's horn outside.

"Did I mention that tonight, we both are at least gonna get asked once to go upstairs with someone." My bestfriend tells me, pulling up outside the house.

"Yes you've already told me that at least four times now." I replied laughing, stepping out of his white mini Cooper, allowing the music coming from the house in front to be heard.

"Well I'm sorry if my girl looks bomb tonight." He claimed, climbing out as well and locking his car.

"Yeah well my answer will always be no and you know why? because no way am I having it someone else's house." I answered, taking time to walk up to the door of the house, due to my heels.

"Trust me, Kennedy that's the last thing you worry about when it's happening." Mason admitted, grabbing hold of my hand, pulling me inside to the party.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 hours since I last saw Mason. 2 flipping hours. I've searched this the whole bottom floor for him and nothing. I know he's still here because of his car is parked outside. I have a feeling he's upstairs but I am not going to look, just in case, I see something I don't want to see.

"Kennedy, is that you?" I turned around to see my ex-boyfriend, Brandon standing there smirking down at me.

"What do you want Brandon?" I questioned, getting bored of him already.

"You." He told me stepping closer, resting his hands on my hips, slightly massaging them.

"Well that's nice of you but I am not interested." I said, pulling his hands of me and facing the other way to get a drink at the bar.

"You didn't say that last year, did you Kennedy?" He mentioned, tracing his fingers lower down my back.

"Brandon, I was a stupid girl, who thought she loved you, but when I caught you in your lies, I dumped you and became the smartest person I ever could be so I will never take you back ever."  I stated, not even sparing a glance at him.

His lips began to hover near my ear, causing me to tense uncomfortably. "But Kennedy babe, It was an accident, I didn't mean to."

He must be dumb, how the frick frack is that an accident?

"BULLSHIT!" I cursed, swiftly facing my body towards him. " BRANDON CHEATING IS NOT AN ACCIDENT, FALLING OFF YOUR BIKE IS AN ACCIDENT, DID YOU FALL OF YOUR BIKE AND FALL INTO ANOTHER WOMAN'S VAGINA?" At this point I was screaming like a mad woman, cheating should never be a option ever.

"Who do you think your talking to?" He questioned, tightening his grip around my back, letting his fingers dig into my skin, hard enough to draw blood.

"Brandon, get off me. What the hell is wrong with you?" I sobbed, tears threatening to spill.

"YOU HEARD THE GIRL LET HER GO!" A unfamiliar voice roared from behind him, I couldn't make out who it was as the piece of shit also known as Brandon was blocking the view.
I felt his hands realeasing me warily, as if he was unsure of something.

"I still love you." He mumbled, but loud enough so I could hear and then disapperd in the crowd of sweaty, hormonal teenagers.

"Hey, are you okay?" A gentle voice sopke, gaining my attention.
